Antique Glass Fly Trap Catcher Bug Insect Wasp Killer Minnow Fish Suncatcher
Hello and Welcome to the auctions! I am a collector of glass fly and wasp traps and have decided to offer a few for bids.I am getting a bit unsettled when I see glass trap reproductions offered as antiques, so bare with me to tell the difference.or just ask me! This small aqua/green fly trap measures 4 3/4" tall by 3 3/4"wide and is complete with a new twisted wire hanger(I made it) and a newer cork closure. The glass clarity is excellent with some dimples and very few use scratches. The entrance opening is perfect and the funnel has a defined settle line all the way around(made when the maker removed the blowpipe) the glass funnel was pulled backward to remove the punty rod forming a wrinkle line around the base of the funnel. The trap appears to lean if viewed while sitting on a flat surface, I think the rolled lip top is tilted ... morea bit. This trap is not"named" or embossed with any initals in the circular slug plate, fully functional with a solution of sugar water added to the inside to form a moat for the insects to swim and eventually expire in. antique glass traps are not embossed with insects. They are not ribbed or textured and rarely made of colored glass. these days the reproduced models are increasingly hard to identify, look for signs of wear to the glass base, check the hanger wire for new characteristics(perfect and rust-free) be sure the funnel trap opening was not ground smooth to hide the smooth manfacture line! use scratches should be present no matter how tiny, in short, look for some detraction that usually comes with age.or email me and I will give you my opinion for free. allthingsglass0(at yahoo dot com) Old antique traps exibit use scratches and sometimes a whitish haze from being buried(called sickness) They might have swirls in the THIN glass, potstones, un-eveness in the glass, dimples,crimps, and an overall crudeness from a less than perfect manfacturing process, there may be nicks or bits of glass missing, applied feet and collars are good indicators, mold lines in th

This is an Antique Cast Iron 3 Burner Gas/ Propane Camp/ Cook/ Canning Stove measuring 27 1/4" long by 12 1/4" wide& 6" high. It is marked underneath- 25AS-878A. I acquired this Stove from an older gentleman who told me that his mother used to use this Stove all the time when she would do her canning with several neighbor ladies- out in the barn! He told me that as far as he knows. The Stove works just fine. It is in Excellent Vintage condition- Very Stout- has just light surface rust that will easily remove with a bit of sanding& quite a bit of the original Black paint still remains on the underside. Antique Planting Tool
This tool was used for planting checked corn and was used with large rolls of wire with a knot every 40" Each time the planter hit a knot. Several kernels would dispense. Then each time you reached the end of the field, you would have to climb off the tractor and move the wire. By using this method, it was possible to cultivate both width ways and cross ways for weed control. This practice has not been used in years. This tool measures around 33" long x 9" wide and about 4" thick altogether. It weighs around 6 lbs. The wheel is rusted. But with lubrication, it looks like it would turn again.

Antique French Architectural Wrought Iron Panel
This is an Antique French Architectural Wrought Iron Panel. We do not know specifically what sort of piece this came from. But it looks like it could have be from a section of ornamental fencing or gate, a pediment or top piece along a fence or gate, or from some other sort of piece. The person we got it from told us it was sold by an antique dealer who regularly imports containers of antiques from France. As you can see the section was cut at the ends such that the left and right sides are not symmetric. The overall maximum dimensions are about 33" wide by 16 1/2" tall. The profile of the wrought iron is about 1/2" x 1/4" The piece weighs nearly 10 pounds. Condition: The piece was painted a slate blue color as seen in the closeup photos in the lower photo group below this description. The slot measures 5" long and about 1 1/4" wide. The spring works great. The letters are nice and crisp. I do not see any cracks. Chips or breaks on the piece. There is a small amount of paint residue and some minor surface rust. There is some pitting on the letters R& S especially and minor pitting other places. Up for auction is a Rare Antique"French. Porcelain Enamel Heart, Memorial Plaque" with a Cross Top. The plaques with the cross tops are hard to find. The porcelain over metal plaque is approx 6 1/4" wide by 9 1/2" high by 1/8" thick. The lower right hand edge has the makers name. The plaque isn't flat it is convex and would stick out from the wall slightly. This would make a nice accent piece for the home or garden. I am listing a beautiful cast iron Leader hay trolley or unloader in excellent condition. It was manufactured in the late 1800's has a patent in raiswd letters on one side. This trolley has not been repainted but has been cleaned and give a coat of clear laquer. The cast iron polished up rea nice and has a beautiful patina. A lot of these old hay trolleys are absolute works of art. This one included. If your looking for a standout display piece you might want to consider this one. It is 17 1/2" long x 12 1/2" x 7" wide. Both sheaves and all 4 trolley wheels turn smoothly. There are no breaks or repairs. Hay trolleys are a great representation of early life on the farm and are very collectable. They are in good condition but do have a few flaws. The mounting brackets that attach to wall are missing for both of the holders. You can use your own brackets if want. WE ARE OFFERING Antique Pair of Tall Porcelain Hand Painted French Sevres/ Meissen Style Covered Urns For your consideration is this lovely Pair of Antique Porcelain Hand Painted French/ Sevres/Meissen Style Lidded Urns. The Urns each measure approximately 17 1/2" tall. Measuring to the top of the lid covers, not including the finial. They are Cream or Antique White in color. With the Urn on the Left(in pictures) being a bit yellower. They each feature a handpainted portrait center and are handpainted on both sides, see pictures) with surrounding accenting gold work. They also include gilded bronze or brass ornate mounts. Each Urn has been dusted and lightly cleaned-there appears to be a bit of tape residue on the back of the right Urn-so they may need some finer cleaning. The gold colored metal brass mounts. Handles and trim, show age ... morewear with some of the gold color missing in various areas. Some of the gold gilt flower decoration is gray colored-not sure if its suppose to look that way for variation or has lost gilt over the years due to aging. The Urns may need more tightened from the bottom, as they are somewhat loose, but they are completely intact. Here for your consideration is an antique ARTS CRAFTS MISSION OAK plant stand. This measures 17 1/4" tall and is 12" square at the top. The legs are tapered and splay out making the base 10 1/2" square. This is constructed of solid oak and features cut-out sides and a scalloped top. There is a slight split to the top that was repaired and really only noticeable from underneath. The piece is otherwise in good sturdy condition with all other wear reflective of age and use. Vintage grub hoe. Unusual spade type. Nicely marked"RADES 1944" on inside of metal blade. It has only some light age to the wood handle. Tiny open grain cracks but no serious splits, much better condition than would be expected on this old of an item. Metal is good condition with some rust, but little if any pitting, and is still fully sound. It is about 36 inches long overall. Metal head is about 9 inches long and 3 inches wide. Great for vintage display. Movie prop, and reinactments. This bird cage is absolutely fantastic! It is warm. Quaint and cozy. It is country shabby and French chic. The measurements are 22 3/4" x 18 1/2" x 10 3/4" Inside the cage is an old nesting basket and original swing. The doors are intact. The door on the right has an old wire repair and is missing the closing hook/latch. The bottom pan is missing and wires that are to be under the pan have come loose from their wood supports.
