PAIR WOOD AND ORNATE WROUGHT IRON ANTIQUE GOTHIC ARCHED WINDOWS CHURCH SALVAGE
We are pleased to offer this beautiful. Antique(old, not reproduction) pair of window frames with wrought iron insert. This gorgeous architectural piece was salvaged from an old church is Southwest Missouri. They are quite unique with a painted tortoise shell or marbled finish. One of the windows has been white washed over this finish. The colors are whte, cream, tan, black and a burnt orange. The wrought iron inserts are also ornate with intricate scroll work and a center, round medallion. The wrought iron is attached to the back of the frames with screws. The windows are in good antique condition. It does have chipped paint and the iron has an aged and rusted patina. The wood is old but still intact. PAIR ANTIQUE WINDOW LOUVERED WOOD SHUTTERS ORNATE BRASS SHIELD CROWN HARDWARE
We are pleased to offer this wonderful pair of antique. Interior window shutters. The pair are of pine wood construction and feature 3 door, folding design. There are two louvered doors per shutter. The louvered doors are sectioned/divided with a top and bottom louvered section. Each shutter also has an outer paneled door. The panels are recessed and trimmed with molding. These are also divided into an upper and lower section. The shutters retain their original and ornate brass knobs and back plates. They also retain their lower locking mechanism. This is also brass and is quite ornate. When the doors are closed, this creates a shield and crown design. The upper locking mechanism is no longer present and is missing. The shutters are in good condition with expected wear and an aged condition. The louvers slide freely but not all of them stay ... moreopen and do need adjusting to correct. They are quite lovely. A pair ca 1880 Victorian 1" in diameter sulfide glass picture hangers or curtain tie backs with stunning yellow/gold color. They have a star center with a beaded brass surround. The glass medallions are 5/8" in diameter and rise 1/16" from the rim of the surround. The nails screw into the back of the medallions and different lengths. 2 1/4" 2 3/4" There are some tiny dents on the brass as shown. They are unsigned but are most likely from a maker like P. E. Guerin. Please feel free to politely offer your opinion. They are in very good condition. You may find a flake or two off the side rims of the glass, but nothing that detracts in my opinion.
