Up for sale is one of these vintage cast iron/metal steampunk farm plow spiked gear wheels. These gear wheels are great for yard or garden decor. Wall displays and even repurposed in making furniture or steampunk creations. Each wheel is missing one spike and has very similar wear from age as the ones pictured. The wheels vary from 17 1/4" to 17 3/4" in diameter depending on the wear to the ends. The center hole has a diameter of 1 1/8" and the wheel is 3 7/8" wide. This vintage reproduction is made just like the antique toys of the late 1890s to early 1900s. This piece was probably made in the 1970’s. It is cast iron. And since it is not a pricey antique, you can actually put it in the yard, or garden for décor. It is a cast iron horse attached to a cast iron mail wagon. The wheels actually work. Too. Antique Vtg William Johnson Newark NJ Garden Dibble Planting Tool- 9" Cast Iron
Antique hand tool for bulb planting. Made by William Johnson, Newark NJ. It's seen a lot of use and has a vintage patina, but it is in good functional condition. The underside of the handle has some scratches on it, as shown in photo 4, and there's a slight gap between the two sections of the handle(photos 4 and 5) but it's very very tight and even trying as hard as I can, they're not moving. Because of that gap, it appears as though some dirt got inside the handle. I can hear it rattling when I shake it hard, and I was able to get some of it out, but there's still some in there. Cast iron plant stand. American or English, late 19th century. RARE- Arms with nine saucers that do swivel 360 degrees. Tripod base with decorative cast detail. Approximately 28" Tall x 28" at its widest point with saucers on each side. This has been painted and I show a photo under the stand that reveals probably the original color of pale white. The cups have the surface rusting that is normal for this antique stand. They are still very solid and will clean up(if you prefer) nicely. Really hard to let this one go as it is so rare you come across these in this type of condition. It is very heavy and will be around another 100+ years.

Huge Cast Iron VTG Primitive Mermaid Yard Garden Decor Nautical Sculpture 40"
Up for auction I have one of the coolest cast iron molded mermaids I have ever seen. She is over 3 feet long and weighs about 60lbs. We got her at an estate in Michigan. I would like to assume that. That is where she was probably made. She is hollow and you can see her mold lines. She has amazing age wear that just makes her better. She is not broken in any way. Just cool. Again. She is about 40" long. Her arms are about 15" apart and from the ground up she is about 17" tall. Looks like she spent most of her life outside being that the estate was on Lake Michigan. She has an amazing green-ish paint( that is coming away now but leaving a beautiful patina. Wonderful detailed face and bust. I haven't seen to many that are this large and in this pose. For starters the darker spots on cast iron are just from wiping it down with a wet cloth and it hadn't dried completely. From what I see this is all original. When you roll it the bottom does spin but could use some oil. Everything seems sturdy and handles are good. If purchased I will remove the handles from cast iron just for shipping purchases. Antique/VTG Cast Iron Flower Planter/Pot. Great For The Garden or House. Prim.
A beautiful well made antique/vintage flower planter/urn/pot. It was used at an 1850's carriage house that was unfortunately being torn down for a parking lot We bought what we could so it wouldn't end up in a landfill and lost forever. I don't know it's actual age but that is where it came from. On a personal level. I just love this planter. This would make a wonderful addition to your yard. Deck or even used indoors. Made from cast iron that looks like it was produced by hand. You can see where the seams were welded etc. but it does not detract. It adds to it's beauty. This beautiful planter measures approx. 14 inches tall by 11 1/2 across at the top. Condition seems appropriate for it's age. Please look closely at the pictures as they give you the best description. I can't possibly know what one person will ... morethink is a flaw and another an enhancement. There is some surface rust. I did only very light cleaning as many like items left as is. If you look at the third picture. You will see a thin crack on the rim. It it not really easily seen with the naked eye. Even with the thin crack it is a gorgeous old planter. You can see in the pictures that it kind of changes tone colors depending on how the light is hitting it. The pictures themselves truly do not capture it's appeal in my opinion but after taking many pictures I had to settle on these. I had a hard time getting good pictures of this beautiful planter. Depending on the sun it looks too dark or too much glare. I can honestly say I find it very appealing. Please look closely at the pictures as they are truly the best description and as such a large part of the description. You can super size to get up close looks. Color may vary due to resolutions.
