Vintage mid-century 1950's white ceramic garden water pitcher. It has a very nice and stylish retro design to it. I had purshase it in a moving sale from a lady that inform me it belong to her grandmother's to water her plants back in the days. Measures 6 1/2 inches tall. this cute antique old wrought iron base with cement top garden/patio table stand was originally found stored away in a barn and I would date it to mid century. I just briefly cleaned it but it could use a much better cleaning. it measures 29 1/2' high and the base is 24' square and the tip is 18' in diameter. its in excellent condition for its age with no damages. the top is not permanently fixed to the base but that could easily be done with screws or a construction glue if desired. this would have a shop value of hundreds. Mid Century Modern Wrought Iron Plant Stand Salterini Russell Woodard Era
Offered is this very cool and unusual mid century modern atomic wrought iron plant stand. Nice woven metal basket with tripod base. The metal balls for the handle and that attach to the baskets underneath are all solid brass. Originally it was white but someone painted it a sage green. Needs to be cleaned up a re-painted to a color of your choice. No damage just flaking paint. Looks like something similar to Russell Woodard's sculptura line or Salterini furniture. Very nice quality work. Probably manufactured around the 1940's or 50's. The plant stand measures 33" tall and each basket measures about 9" wide by 6" tall and would hold a terracotta insert.
