Up for auction is a lot of 9 valve handles made of STEEL o r IRON. All 9 together weigh just over 2 lbs. The Steel and Iron handles are the Strong Heavy Duty type. There are many different shapes. Sizes, and colors. Sometimes when you stack one handle on top of another handle something interesting happens. Please see photos. All of these handles are used. But none of them are broken or horribly mangled. All of these handles have the center valve stem removed. And are ready to be mounted or fastened. Up for sale is one of these vintage cast iron/metal steampunk farm plow spiked gear wheels. These gear wheels are great for yard or garden decor. Wall displays and even repurposed in making furniture or steampunk creations. Each wheel is missing one spike and has very similar wear from age as the ones pictured. The wheels vary from 17 1/4" to 17 3/4" in diameter depending on the wear to the ends. The center hole has a diameter of 1 1/8" and the wheel is 3 7/8" wide. The former owners had lived there since he had gotten out of the military after enlisting during WWII. And her family had been on the property for generations before that. It’s all farm stuff- household, barn, outbuildings, property- many items from the 1800s and up. Lot of old iron, barn digs, primitives and pretties- I’m so excited to show them to you! Enjoy! I'm listing these old Cub Cadet lawn tractor blades as yard art. Not for use, as I have not used them, and don't have any idea how"sharp" or functional they would be. I just loved the way you can arrange them- from a flower, to an N, to a triangle to a 3 bladed fan.the ... morepossibilities are limited to your imagination! Each on measures 16 1.2" long, 2 1/2" widest and has a 3/4" hole in the center, with a 1/4" hole on either side. Each one weighs 2 1/4 lbs- so they are heavy. They have just the remnants of gold colored paint, that goes great with the darkened patina of the steel and the light surface rust that cen be seen all over- more of a covering in the center of the blades, and more spotty on the outside edges of the blades. They are in excellent solid and sturdy condition structurally, with no cracks or structural issues that I can find. I do see a CC mark that I think may be for Cub Cadet. These would look so cool hanging on the wall, or even inserted in the ground for your own whimsical iron sculpture! They are barn fresh dusty/dirty and could use a good cleaning. Love the LOOK! This great find came from an old estate sale in central PA and was painted(folk art look) yellow and black. It measures 20" tall. The bottom base is 9" in diameter and the top is 15" in diameter. On the bottom base it is marked Abendroth Bros. New York. The only small issue I found with this piece was a small break underneath the top where the screw is at(due to use and age) However it would be a very simple welding fix. The top is a little lose but that is only because of the lose nut. The underneath is a little dirty and would just take some steel wool to clean it up, but I didn't want to mess with the base. I say very good condition for age. 22 1/2 inches tall and weighs about 27 pounds. Dated what looks like Pat' NOV 15 1881. Shaped like it housed a bell. Top is not the original its a pier 1 imports coaster of some kind but sits and looks good. Signed ABENDROTH BROS. NY. Spray painted black at one time. The two nut/bolts look froze. Really is the nicest looking stand I seen in awhile. This would look great in any room as a end table. Bottom inside needs sanding and painting or leave it to show its true age.
