Vintage Antique Primitive Rustic Watering Can 1940's Mint Green Floral Applique
Vintage decorative metal garden flower watering can. I'm guessing from the 1940's. It has an attached metal handle as well as a wire handle with wooden hand grasp. It has an applique floral fruit basket on one side. It has 3 small holes in the bottom sides where it has apparently rusted through, although I don't see a whole lot of rust elsewhere. They are smaller around than a pencil eraser. This would make a nice decorative touch to your yard and garden, patch the holes and use it as it was intended or make a planter out of it. Great antique/vintage metal bucket with awesome blue paint. Wonderful patina with rust. Scuffs, marks, etc typical of age and use. Measures 8 7/8" tall x 5 3/4" at bottom and 6 3/4" at top. There are four tiny pinholes are edge of bottom, so this could not hold water. There are two seams on this bucket that run from top to bottom. Top edge is rolled/folded over. There is a round opening on one side near top(about 1/4" around) making me wonder if this was possibly use to hang on a tree and collect sap? Lovely old hand-made seed display in pine. Beautifully built. With tiny nails well-hidden, cut-away front, and nicely finished. Lovely old patina. A few water stains. As seen in the photos, but structurally sound. Retains an old label. Fits both the smaller and larger seed packets. I have used this to sort all my packets. With two for veggies and two for flowers. I imagine it may have sat on the counter of a country store each spring. Offering packets full of the promise of summer bounty to the patrons. Measures 18" x 13" x 4-1/4" A bit dusty. It could use some Formby's to even out the wood tone, but I'll leave that to the new owner. The only box I have to ship it in is a computer box. Former owners said her name is Martha, and they had her since the early 80's when they got her at an antique shop in Saugerties, upstate NY. They are moving away and wanted her to have a good home. Rustic, perfect for yard art, country style or vintage decor look or to make a perfect addition to your collection. The head of rake is metal and handle is wooden although it is almost entirely wrapped with what appears to be electrical tape. Looks like it has been that way forever, meaning it actually blends in. Antique Metal Round Bottom Fire Bucket Industrial Railroad Primitive Vintage
Vintage galvanized metal round bottom fire bucket with handle. The bucket measures about 10" tall no including the rounded bottom x 11" wide at the top. The bucket is in good condition and has been clear coated for protection. Unusual piece that may have been used in an industrial setting or railroad. The rounded bottom was used to prevent a person from emptying the sand or water and using it for a seat. Nice piece of history! Great for a hanging bucket or display.

Wonderful primitive decor piece. The canvas has no holes and includes the original strap. The metal spreader has a lovely patina giving it some interest and texture. The inside looks like it was hardly used. The red paint is still intact and the hopper is shiny. The print is still vibrant even after all these years. The canvas does show signs of age and could use a cleaning(I did not attempt) or leave as is to add more interest to this great focal piece. It measures approx 16.5" high and about 16" across.
