Vintage decorative metal garden flower watering can. I'm guessing from the 1940's. It has an attached metal handle as well as a wire handle with wooden hand grasp. It has an applique floral fruit basket on one side. It has 3 small holes in the bottom sides where it has apparently rusted through, although I don't see a whole lot of rust elsewhere. They are smaller around than a pencil eraser. This would make a nice decorative touch to your yard and garden, patch the holes and use it as it was intended or make a planter out of it. This is an unusual and colorful design on an antique pot or urn or planter. Double handled. Terracotta. Very rustic in original untouched condition. The slip decoration is colorful with a creamy ecru background and blue paint decoration. the terracotta is showing thru to decorate as well( the brown colors are unpainted but glazed) This is hand made and very old. All are made differently. No two alike. It stands 9 3/4" high. the base is nearly 5 3/4" round. It is in very good condition with a few nicks on the body. The finish is rough. It was never meant to be a"fine" peice. Very primitive for indoor or outdoor use. It has a very European look. Possibly French. I have listed another one if you care to look. These three hoe heads may be antique. But vintage for sure. Each is different from the others. The two straight/flat hoe scraper heads were used years ago around the farm to push/cut through nail heads holding down tin roofing to take off old roof for replacement, for prep work scraping floors, cutting through weed roots, and smoothing ditch sides for small concrete jobs; also for scraping concrete from boards to be used again for concrete forms. Rough dimensions are: 1) large one- 9" length overall, and blade is 5 1/2" X 6 1/2" round shank is 1/2" in diameter, 2) smaller one- 8 1/2" long overall, and blade is 4 3/4" X 7"and shank is 7/16" in diameter.
