This incredible print is from an 1860 copy of"The Flowering Plants and Ferns of Great Britain" It measures 5 1/2" x 9" and is a nice heavy weight paper that is blank on the back. The drawings are by Anne Pratt. Rendered in block-colored plates and finished by hand. The colors are wonderful and it would be incredible framed either alone or in a group. The scan doesn't really show the beauty of this print! Illustrated on this print: Borage. Madwort, Hounds Tongue One or 2 light foxing spots and slight darkening of paper as would be expected in paper that is almost 151 years old. Scan may be darker than actual print. Manufactured in Newton? Mass. The wooden stake measures 33" long and has the original red paint. The rusty metal reel has string wrapped around, not certain if this is original. This listing is for an authentic vintage antique garden tool. This is a small push-style one row planter or seeder. I can find no makers or patent markings. It was a wooden drive wheel. And Cast iron frame with furrow opener. Interior is tin or light steel and is a two-part drum with diamond shaped openings. Sliding the two sides together increases or decreases the size of opening to determine seeding rate. It has a two bolt clamp to go on a wooden handle. I did not find the handle. it must have been repurposed by the original owner. There is a small bent rod at bottom that would drag as the furrow closer. Wood wheel is held on shaft by a single cotter's pin. Removal of this pin and the wooden wheel would allow the tin drum to be filled with seed. Wheel is 9" in diameter, and cast iron part is 12" in total length. This planter ... moreappears to have never been used. It is in excellent condition. VINTAGE ANTIQUE SEED FERTLIZER SPREADER, RED WITH STANDARD OIL DECAL WORKS GOOD
Finding a item of this age in the condition shown in the pictures is a rare event. This is a seed/fertilizer spreader with a container of an estimated 2.5 gallons. The container measures 9 1/2 inches across the top. 10 1/4 inches from the bottom of the container to the top. The entire spreader is 14 1/4 inches from the bottom to the top and 10 1/4 inches at it's widest point. The spreader has it's original paint which is red and has a Standard Oil decal on the front which also looks original. Due to lack of use there is a little rust on the spreader wheel and the gear crank but everything still works great. This item is ready for use or would look great in a collection of old items. Antique Vintage Red Jacket Cast Iron Well Water Pump Diverter Conductor Pat 1926
Up for auction is a cast iron Red Jacket water conductor/ diverter for a well water hand pump. It was hung from a hook close to the end of the spigot of a hand pump for well water. The wire bail went over the hook on the pump and a piece of pipe was threaded into the opening at the bottom of the diverter( pic 3) The bottom of the diverter could rotate 360 degrees and would direct water from the pump to a variety of containers. It is approx. 5 1/2" tall and 4 1/2" in diameter. The inlet where the spigot goes is 2 5/8" in diameter. If you collect Red Jacket pumps this piece would be the finishing touch to one of your pumps. Would also of course fit other pumps as well. The cast iron is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. US shipments only. Thanks for looking. Antique Well Hand Pump Red Jacket circa 1923 W/piston
This antique Red Jacket pump and piston have sat around too long in my garage. For about 8 years. It is the Red Jacket I found advertised in a 1923 magazine here on line. It stands 42 inches tall and the base is 9 1/2 inches dia. The piston will come with it. The pump handle is 32 inches long and the neck of the pump has FT-2 stamped on it. The spout has 40 BS stamped on that. The two together weigh about 55 pounds. I intended to put it atop my drilled well to get water in a winter snow emergency then discovered Arizona and spend snow days there!

Antique Paver Bricks From Early 1900s in the Brown/Red Shades
Pair Of Early 1900s Egyptian Paver Bricks in Brown/Red Shades These pavers weigh ten pounds each and are fired with a classic process from fine clays. This paver pair includes a nice example of a rarer chocolate brown firing. And another in the red coloring the company is known for. These are nice examples of naturally aged clay materials. In good condition for their age. Made in southern IL in the early 1900s. Approximately 9" x 4" x 3" They can be used as conversation pieces inside or out. Door stops, book ends, garden stepping stones, inserts in other materials in a project for accents, etc. Or just be conventional and lay them in a patio or driveway. Dry laid so there is no mortar or cement to remove as many of the pavers of that era suffer from. Cleaned with no chemicals used on them. You can't find the rich patina ... morethat has developed on these pavers on newer machine made ones out there. Adds to any fine collection from back in the day.

The pump is about 15" high. The pump does work freely. The base of hr pump has ACME 1910, and the neck has NOME 1912. I think someone has oainted it, some white shows through.
