Hello and welcome Measurements: 4-3/4"tall x 15-1/4"long x 10-1/4"deep For sale is this primitive RUMFORD BAKING POWDER wood advertising box. On the front of the box it says: KEEP IN DRY PLACE RUMFORD. On the sides of box it has: 2 DOZ. 1/2 LB. CANS, RUMFORD, THE WHOLESOME BAKING POWDER, on the bottom there is something written, but I'm unable to read it. I believe that this box is from the early 1900's. The corners are dovetailed jointed. But the bottom is nailed along the outer corners of the bottom edge. Still has the original soft patina, with some scuffs, nicks, chips to the pine wood, missing one small section on the back of the box(please see all pictures) This box is still SOLID and in good condition! Antique Forged Iron Farm Garden Row Stake Pole Tool Plant Rope Guide primitive I believe these are antique garden stakes or poles used to make straight planting rows in the garden. The forged iron stakes were used by a real English gardener on a wealthy estate in New Jersey during approx. 1940s-60s. The estate featured a farm and employed a blacksmith for decades. Therefore most likely these were forged on the farm at some point. Both stakes feature a spear at the bottom, one having an"eye" at the top and the other a"grid" to wrap the rope around- the grid is free to spin around, making winding up the rope easy. The simple stake measures 26" long and the larger one measures 28" long. The rope may be original, however I'm not certain. Vintage Antique Primitive Rustic Watering Can 1940's Mint Green Floral Applique
Vintage decorative metal garden flower watering can. I'm guessing from the 1940's. It has an attached metal handle as well as a wire handle with wooden hand grasp. It has an applique floral fruit basket on one side. It has 3 small holes in the bottom sides where it has apparently rusted through, although I don't see a whole lot of rust elsewhere. They are smaller around than a pencil eraser. This would make a nice decorative touch to your yard and garden, patch the holes and use it as it was intended or make a planter out of it. Great antique/vintage metal bucket with awesome blue paint. Wonderful patina with rust. Scuffs, marks, etc typical of age and use. Measures 8 7/8" tall x 5 3/4" at bottom and 6 3/4" at top. There are four tiny pinholes are edge of bottom, so this could not hold water. There are two seams on this bucket that run from top to bottom. Top edge is rolled/folded over. There is a round opening on one side near top(about 1/4" around) making me wonder if this was possibly use to hang on a tree and collect sap? Our best guess is a boot/shoe scraper or a"log dog" tool for holding small logs in place, or for driving into a log to be used as a work support. You may know better than we do! It has an elongated"H" shape with two spike-like end pieces connected by a flat crossbar. The overall dimensions of this piece are about 6 1/2 inches wide by 5 inches tall. This piece was crudely hand-forged together and designed for utility, not perfection. It is definitely iron/ferrous, and does attract a magnet.
