Description This is a great piece that was salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian home. It has an arched top with hoops. There are great cast iron embellishments on the uprights and inside the hoops. The crossbars have large cast iron flower where they intersect. There is surface rust overall. It measures 43 inches long and is 42 inches tall. Overall it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. There are a couple of light bends. The keeper is damaged. One embellishment is missing. Antique Victorian Iron Arch Top HAIRPIN Garden Gate - Architectural Salvage 30"

It measures 22" including the three chain links at the top and is 10" in diameter at its widest. This features 8 glass panels in three different sizes. The middle section is where the door is located. The glass panel for the door and the panel next to it is missing. The door needs to be reattached as well. Amazing old gate! Hi, I am selling the most amazing decorative cast iron gate topper! At least I think that's what it is. Not too sure: The patina is to die for. Just enough rust and paint loss to be perfect! It has 3 1 5/8" legs at the bottom. I think is where it sat on top of the gate. It has a small easel back behind. Can prop at an angle. It is gigantic measuring 9' 1" wide. 25" tall to the top of the finial, not including the legs at the bottom and is approximately 4" deep. I am guessing it to be 80-90 lbs. I believe it is cast iron. Unknown age. Looks quite old to me. It has incredible detail. So intricate, it is stunning! I think this would make an amazing plant border. But there are so many things you could do! How about above your bed or fireplace? Check the pics carefully. You'll see on the left side ... moreat the bottom the base sticks out a bit further than the scrolly detail above. But on the right side, the scrolly part sticks out further than the base. I think this is where 2 of these would have met. This must have been one whopper of a gate! Check out the 2nd to last pic. Antique Architectural Salvage Rusty Iron Farming Garden Decor SteamPunk Use
What a statement piece for your garden! So this thing I call"The Seeder" Although it's an old farming tool. It's made of metal, iron I'm pretty sure because it's all rusty, and is pretty heavy. From my research, this was used to drop seeds into the ground. It has a wheel in the front and a container on the top(actually on the bottom in the photos) to fill with seeds. They fall through the bottom as you push it along. I'm sure it had a wooden handle at one point, but it's long gone. Very cool rusty vintage piece. There are a couple of holes in it that would make it very easy to attach to a piece of wood for a unique, primitive piece of wall art. Measures approximately 24" long by 15" tall by 6" deep. We have just acquired another group of antique iron window gates to list on eBay. Our previous buyers have used them for garden art. Wall art, headboards, pot racks, and of course, window gates. We are pleased to offer the gates to use wherever your imagination takes you. You are invited to make a reasonable offer on an old wrought iron window gate. MEASUREMENTS: 23¼" Wide 29" at the high side 27" at the low side The gate was used to protect the basement window on an early 1900's row home in Philadelphia. It is in the traditional Mission style. It has 5 flat vertical bars that are curled over at the top. It has a cross-hatch pattern with a large medallion in the center. The window gate is in very good condition overall with chippy paint. Surface rust and dings commensurate with age and use. There are no missing or ... morebroken parts. Please check our seller's list for other antique window gates. Where possible.
