The stake was used by a real English gardener on a wealthy estate in New Jersey during approx.the 1940s-60s. Remnants of the label is visible and appears to be called a TRIMSTIK. Manufactured in Newton? Mass. The wooden stake measures 33" long and has the original red paint. The rusty metal reel has string wrapped around, not certain if this is original. Would make a nice addition for any vintage garden tool collection. Condition: Good condition and appears to be in original condition. Including the red paint. No cracks in the wood. Sturdy, wooden hose reel is 38" tall~~the wood frame is 13" wide~~out to out of the 4 1/2" in diameter wheels is 16 1/4" wide~~the bentwood frame lumber is 1 1/2" wide and 3/4" thick. The steel wheels roll independent of one another. None of the weathered wood is broke, gouged, split or rotten. I would guess this is vintage 1920s, you be the judge. The wheels as well as the center reel move with ease. There are hints of the original red paint on the frame. All metal parts have some surface rust only. This was found in a home and has been stored inside that home for 25 years or more. My thought is that it is handmade from recycled materials. It is well made. Secure and sturdy. The end wood pieces measure 1/4" in thickness. Evidently it was made from an old produce box. The metal handle is an old pipe. Vintage Rustic Wood Slats Greenhouse Flat Garden Herbs Plants Tray 18" x 12"
Here is a vintage rustic flat or tray used for carrying your small herb. Vegetable or flower plants home from the greenhouse or garden center in. This tray is 17 1/2" x 12" x 2 1/2" It is made of wooden slats that have never had a finish but have acquired lots of character. I lettered"Herbs" on one side of the tray a few years ago-it is not original to the tray. The slats are 1/4" thick and the two end pieces are 1/2" It is constructed of wire"staples" that are now rusty-they must be very long because they are doing a great job of holding everything together. There are no loose slats at all. Also no breaks-just a few very minor splits at the ends of the slats. This is super neat for showing off some of your favorite garden items such as tools. Flower pots, seed packets and so on. It would be great ... morefor all kinds of things sitting on the kitchen counter. And maybe best of all-awesome on a harvest table filled with autumns bounty or what have you. I will add that while this is very sturdy, I would not recommend it for actually carrying a heavy load-such as gourds that have not dried. Antique Hand Held Scythe Sickle Farm Garden Tool Wood Handle 12" Rusty Blade
Antique Hand Held Scythe. We found it hanging on the wall as a decor item in an enclosed. Garden porch at an estate sale. It's not marked for maker or age, my best guess is that it dates to around 1930. Wooden handle. The blade is held to the metal curved part by 2 rivets. The blade is about 12" long, it weighs 1 pound. Condition: A lot of wear on the wood handle; splits. Scrapes a few little paint spots. All metal parts are covered in rust. No dings on the blade, all the parts are tight. All questions are welcomed. Vintage Garden sprayer, syringe, solid brass, turned wood handle, 12"
Vintage Solid brass sprayer for the garden(is my guess) This could also be a large syringe for some other purpose. The overall length is 12" with a 1" diameter barrel. It has a nicely turned brass nozzle that unscrews. It also has a nicely turned wooden handle that still has remains of the original black finish. The overall condition is good with a few very small dents or dings to the brass barrel and a little corrosion to the brass that could be cleaned up if you prefer that type of look.

The 3 steel tines are reinforced at the bend. The wood handle is ash or hickory. The handle measures 5" in length, no cracks. At one time 3/4 of this tool was painted red. amazing old wood ducks! Hi, I am selling an amazing set of 4 carved wood ducks/geese on metal sticks! I don't know the age. But they look so very old to me. The paint is very chippy. 1 duck with little paint left, the wood is chippy and pitted, looks stunning! I wanted to get a picture of them in the ground in front of a plant or bush so you could see how amazing they look in the yard. But there is NOTHING green yet here in Illinois! I can also see them indoors as art pieces. As I said. The paint is chippy, more might chip during shipment. I love them like this. It just cannot be duplicated, but if you want to keep them from chipping more. You could certainly spray them with a sealer to retain their beauty. Especially if you plan to display them outdoors. The metal stakes are a little bended. But still go in the ground nicely. The stakes ... moreare not flimsy. They are sturdy and strong metal.
