Vintage W L Davey Corp Cast Iron/Brass Hand Well Water Pump Farm Tool Primitive
Vintage pump marked W. L. Davey Corp. Rockford. Ill. This pump measures 20" tall, the base is 9" x 4 1/2" and the handle is about 18 1/2" long. The top spout part is threaded and is 1" the other one 1/2 way down is also threaded and is 3/4" The body part is brass as well as some of the other fittings, the rest is cast iron. The handle moves freely, there are no cracks, welds or breaks in the cast iron. There are various cast#s on a few of the parts, see pictures for details. Lovely Rustic Primitive Vintage Pottery Planter Bowl Iron Ring Handles Redware? Everything that I am listing this week is from the flea market. And from an auction that we went to. There’s lot sandlots of variety, and nifty stuff too- so I hope you enjoy! loveLoveLOVE this gorgeous rustic vintage piece. While it is clear that is was used as a planter in its past. It occured to me that it would be a fabulous bowl for you indoors too. It's got the BEST rustic primitive style- made from clay intentionally rustic, I do believe that it might be redware- look at the bottom and see what you think- I'm not sure because that's the only place that I am seeing the color of terra cotta- so I do believe so. It's a heavy piece, weighing just shy of 4 1/2 lbs- which is a lot as it is a small piece at 8" diameter across the top, 4 5/8" ... morediameter across the pedestal base and 5 5/8" tall. It has fabulous rustic rusty ring handles that look like they have been painted at one time too. See the cracks on the outside? They are from the making of this piece, not damage, as they are not on the inside at all. That being said, I want you to know that I did not fill this piece up with water as I did not want to mess with the patina, but that's a non-issue if it is to be used as a planter or bowl. There are no cracks structural issues though. There's lots of small chips all around- truly can't tell if that's from the making or later, but it all WORKS! I am showing you one indent/divot on the very top of the base where it meets the bowl in photo 15- it is an original indent in the clay from the making. I'm also showing other indents and rustic areas that all look original to the piece- please supersize and look at all- if you love rustic pottery, you are going to love this one. Overall excellent solid and sturdy condition. The rings have surface rust only, and you can see the dark stain on the inside- it looks like a stain from mud- I have not tried to clean this piece in any way and it could

It has a small marking or letter or number on the bottom of the stand(although I can't read it) and the top is orange and the bottom cast iron portion appears to be painted in red although it is very worn and paint has a lot of oxidation and wear. The former owners had lived there since he had gotten out of the military after enlisting during WWII. And her family had been on the property for generations before that. It’s all farm stuff- household, barn, outbuildings, property- many items from the 1800s and up. Lot of old iron, barn digs, primitives and pretties- I’m so excited to show them to you! Enjoy! Good news! If you are looking for a nice old iron window box with lots of rustic primitive charm- your search is over! What I have is an older vintage wrought iron wall mounting window box- isn't it great? Made of wrought iron. This oldee has seen some time outside, and has the BEST ... moreshabby rusty patina. You can see just peeks of the original white(like I'm showing in photo 14) but the peeks are few and far between- mostly just the rust covered iron. It's surface only- no sharp edges etc. You could paint it if you wanted to, but I love it just the way it is. This is a nice sized box- measuring 35 1/2" widest- from the outside of the decorative curled loops all around, 32 1/2" wide measuring from inside of the box, 9 7/8" deep(front to back) on the outside, 8 1/4" deep inside the box at the top, 7 3/4" deep inside the box at the bottom/floor of the box, 5 3/4" tall measuring from the bottom to the top of the curly loops, and 4 1/2" tall from the bottom to the frame that runs along the inside(onto which the curly loops are welded) It weighs 5 1/2 lbs. At the back, there's 3 up pointing triangles from which you mount the box. Perfect for you to line with moss and plant in, but large enough for you to put individual potted plants in too. It's in excellent solid and sturdy condition. I did find one of the vertical curly cues that has become unattached to the frame at the top only- but totally attached to the botto

Oh my gosh- this pair is soooo cool! I'm calling them older vintage in my title. But I do think that they could be old enough to be antique- and how often have you see ones like this? It's a pair of wrought iron garden spikes- meant to stick in the ground and hold tall tapered candles. ... moreIt's a matching pair- perfect for the entry to your walkway or garden- and what a statement they will make! The each measure 39" tall in total, 38" tall to the top of the drip trays, the drip trays are 4 1/4" diameter, but 5 1/4" wide as there's a decorative loop of iron on 4 sides, 3/4" square at the candle well(it's square, as it's made of 4 pieces of flat iron coming up, but it held my grocery store bought standard tapered candles well when I tried them) and the pole that sticks in the ground is 3.8" diameter. The pole alone is 35 1/4" tall from the bottom of the drip tray to the bottom of the pole- so you have lots of room to adjust and decide- how tall, or how short you want them to be. Each candle holder weighs 1 1/2 lbs. They are in excellent solid and sturdy condition. With a very very worn black finish that you really only see peeks of from the underside of the drip trays. On the top, and the poles, it's pretty much a coating of surface rust- surface only, with no holes, or eat throughs etc. There's more pitting to the iron on the bottom ends of the poles where they stuck in the ground(see photo 10- sorry for

Vintage Antique Primitive Rustic Watering Can 1940's Mint Green Floral Applique
Vintage decorative metal garden flower watering can. I'm guessing from the 1940's. It has an attached metal handle as well as a wire handle with wooden hand grasp. It has an applique floral fruit basket on one side. It has 3 small holes in the bottom sides where it has apparently rusted through, although I don't see a whole lot of rust elsewhere. They are smaller around than a pencil eraser. This would make a nice decorative touch to your yard and garden, patch the holes and use it as it was intended or make a planter out of it. It measures 10" tall not including the metal handle which is a little taller, and 10" wide across the bottom. My shipping cost is exact as estimated by the eBay shipping calculator. Antique Vintage PRIMITIVE Metal Bucket BLUE Barn Farm Flowers Garden Sap?
Great antique/vintage metal bucket with awesome blue paint. Wonderful patina with rust. Scuffs, marks, etc typical of age and use. Measures 8 7/8" tall x 5 3/4" at bottom and 6 3/4" at top. There are four tiny pinholes are edge of bottom, so this could not hold water. There are two seams on this bucket that run from top to bottom. Top edge is rolled/folded over. There is a round opening on one side near top(about 1/4" around) making me wonder if this was possibly use to hang on a tree and collect sap? The only place that actually has any rust damage. If you look very closely in the last photo you can see about a 2" area along the very bottom rim, but it's not serious. COOL Primitive Vintage Beekeepers Helmet Hat With Netting Dadant Hamilton IL Well. I'm coming up with new"first time I ever sold" ones all of the time! I just loved the LOOK of this one- it would make for a wonderful garden display piece. What I have is a vintage beekeeper's helmet or hat with it's original tag marking that it was made by Dadant and Sons out of Hamilton Illinois. Dadant is a 6 generation family owned business that has been in operation since 1863. I didn't have a model, so my wood stave bucket stepped in to help me out- it's not included! The hat is helmet in shape, and feels to be made of some type of maybe fiberglass( it's a light man made product(but not light like styrofoam- its sturdy) The hat measures 13 3/4" by 11 1/2" and the inside of the head hole is about 8" by 7 ... more1/2. It weighs 1 lb. There's an old leather strap on the inside that ties on one end in order to adjust the size. Over the brim of the helmet, you can see the netting that sits on top of it(is not attached) There's screen netting in the front(like a screen door screen) that is wider at the front and then thinner at the top along the back, and tben more of a fabric type screen then beneath the other(screen door type) screen. At the bottom of the fabric, there is a rope tie that runs through a seam at the bottom and comes through two white plastic rings. You can tighten and loosen the rope- which would have provided the protection from bees getting in. Speaking of protection, I am selling this as a decorative item- not for use- as you can see from my photos that there's several wear spots to the fabric screening- mostly around the edges where it rubbed agains the hat brim for so long- see photos 7& 8. In photo 8, you can see that there's what looks to be a hand sewn repair to the hat where the screen meets the structure of the hat. All that being said- the fabric shows well on the body of it, as does the screen- the wear being in the edge areas that I described

Bottoms look sound. I do not think they leak. Good decorator item around the garden. We use them for planters, but you need to poke drain holes in the bottom. Both 10 quarts capacity. One has kinked snout that could be straightened a bit.

Antique Primitive Cast Iron Parts Rings vintage retro industrial metal farm barn
I do not know really know what I have here except the are old. Large, heavy, and made of iron. I thought they could be used for all types of creative ideas indoors or out. They are quite large and measure 35 by 26 inches. Each one weighs about 35 pounds as well. I will ship but would prefer to be picked up. And if anyone just wants to let me know what they were used for I would appreciate it as well.
