There is no reserve on this great pair of old garden tools. We have an old fork with metal prongs and a wooden handle. The paint is original with nice amounts of wear. It would be a great display piece. We also have an old trowel with very nice paint. But the handle may be a repaint. Both pieces are very sturdy and certainly could be used if desired. Really nice antique garden fork. Nice metal cap on end. I have many letterheads. Old documents, post cards and many antique collectibles listed. There are many letterheads for hotels and railroads as well as a variety of businesses from many states. A lot of them of them are addressed to railroads and railroad agents. The raiload put a punch hole in some of them and some have staple holes. Please refer to pictures for any wear on the edges. Great patina. this item has not been cleaned. Good vintage condition.small cap is missing. measures apx 19 1/2" long with pump handle pushed in. 34" with handle pump all the way out. 6 1/2" side to side wide. the round can part is 6 1/8" diameter. THIS IS A GOOD VINTAGE TROWEL + FORK/ PLANTING TROWEL + FORK/ GARDEN TROWEL + HAND FORK. THERE IS NO MANUFACTURER’S NAME ON EITHER ITEM. BUT THEY ARE CLEARLY GOOD QUALITY VINTAGE TOOLS. THE SOCKET OF THE FORK IS STAMPED“MADE IN ENGLAND” THERE ARE NO MARKINGS ON THE TROWEL. THE TROWEL MEASURES ABOUT 13 INCHES(330mm) IN TOTAL LENGTH. THE BLADE IS JUST OVER 3 INCHES(78mm) WIDE. MEASURED AT THE WIDEST POINT ACROSS THE SHOULDERS. THE FORK MEASURES ABOUT 12 INCHES(305mm) IN TOTAL LENGTH AND IS ABOUT 3 INCHES(76mm) WIDE. MEASURED ACROSS THE SHOULDERS. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE TROWEL AND FORK ARE NOT AN EXACT MATCHING PAIR, ALTHOUGH THEY ARE VERY SIMILAR IN STYLE, SIZE, COLOUR AND APPEARANCE. THERE IS SOME DISCOLOURATION AND SOME MINOR SURFACE ABRASIONS/ SLIGHT LOCALISED PITTING TO THE STEEL HEADS OF BOTH TOOLS. AS YOU CAN SEE THEY HAVE RETAINED SOME ... moreOF THEIR ORIGINAL RED PAINTWORK AND ARE BOTH CLEAN AND FREE OF SURFACE CORROSION. THE HANDLES OF BOTH TOOLS ARE IN VERY GOOD PERIOD CONDITION AND ARE SECURELY ATTACHED TO THEIR HEADS. WITH NO MOVEMENT BETWEEN THEM. AS SEEN IN THE PHOTOS, THERE ARE A FEW VERY MINOR HAIRLINE SHRINKAGE CRACKS TO THE HANDLE OF THE TROWEL, NONE OF WHICH COMPROMISE ITS SECURITY OR INTEGRITY IN ANY WAY. OTHER THAN THIS THE HANDLES OF BOTH TOOLS HAVE NO SPLITS OR MAJOR CHIPS TO THEM. IN SUMMARY.
