I checked and ... moreit is water tight and the handle is also nice and tight. The top is marked with a#8. Holds approx one gallon. There are areas of wear and markings on this can but I think it just adds to it's character. Take a look at the pictures and ask all questions before bidding. It is 12" tall to top of handle and is 7 1/2" in diameter. This watering can comes with two sprinkler heads. Both having the remnants of the original red and green paint. Both heads fit the spout. One sprinkler is about 3 1/2" in diameter and the other is 2 3/4" in diameter. I will mention that when pouring water through the sprinkler heads water does drip through the screw fitting area. It does not affect the way the water comes through the head. I tried to show a picture of how both heads pour. If you look close you will see it is not a perfect shower but not so bad that you drench the flower pot.

There are no major dents justa couple of little dings. There is no bad rust spots just a little on the inside bottom. The handle has some surface rust on it and still has some of the original red paint. This bucket came out of an old barn that I cleaned out and tore down that had not been used since 1946. The size of the bucket is 9" tall and 10 5/8" across the top and 8 1/2" across the bottom and the handle is 5" above the top of the bucket. The bucket needs a good cleaning. Vintage Galvanized Washtub: Garden Art, Planter 13-1/2" X 8"
This is a smaller-than-some zinc wash tub. Measuring 13-1/2" in diameter X 8" deep. It has been used a lot and it shows, especially on the inside. It has two sturdy handles that lift up and down and seems to be structurally sound. It does, however, have some rust on the inside bottom that does not go through to the outside so I cannot guarantee with absolute certainty that it would be water tight. I HAVE NOT TESTED IT. This type of tub is often used as a party cooler; this one would be kind of small for that purpose but with the addition of a garbage bag liner would do the trick if one so wished. Pulled this out of a basement that flooded so it has some watermarks and discoloration. Large. Classic, garden watering can. Great sprinkler at the end is copper! The can is galvanized metal under a classic green garden paint. It has aged so perfectly! Nice shabby chic chippy paint with minor dings here and there. It doesn't hold water. But the leak is minor and could be easily remedied. Up for bids is this vintage Galvanized Garden Flower Sprinkler watering can. It is a#9 size. The RED sprinkle head has some water damage. But is on the upper side so it still works. It has a plastic"hand" handle that is in good condition. It measures approximately 18" from end of sprinkle head to the end of the side handle. Item is in good vintage condition. The tubs are in very good condition. Holds water in both sides. As you can see the base has paint issues, some rust but no holes from rust. This is a vintage 2 gallon watering can. The can is 11 inches tall(not including the handle) and 7 1/2 inches across at the base. It has a plastic sprinkler head. The little knob on the top of the can is a place to store the sprinkler when you want to take it off and pour the water(see last photo. Condition is used. No leaks.
