I have more windows in other sizes which you can find in my ebay store under windows. These windows are very old and from somewhere around the early 1900's. This window does have several layers of paint on one side which has been flaking. Chipping, and peeling off along with some that has also been scraped off. The reverse side has been stained but it also shows age just as the painted side. And, although the putty is loose in many areas, the wood frame is still strong and sturdy despite that it is an old antique window. Antique exterior windows salvaged from an old home in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Each window is made of solid pine and has 9 wavy glass lites. Glazier's Putty: Each of the window's glass lites are secured with old-fashioned glazier's putty on the exterior side. The putty on the majority of the windows is brittle and cracked and should be replaced. We could do this for you. Email us for a quote. I f a lite were to break once you install the windows; you would need to completely scrape off the old putty. Which could be as ... morehard as cement, remove the glazing points, put in the replacement lite, reinsert the points, add new putty, and allow to dry. Not only is it a long, tedious, and messy job to replace a lite, but if you don't have experience doing it, the results may look awful. If you prefer, we could replace the glazier's putty with wooden molding. Not only would the wooden molding look nice and uniform, but the replacement process would be so simple: pull out molding, add replacement lite, and then put back molding. Antique/Vintage Architectural Window Sash From 1800's Farmhouse.Some Wavy Glass
This is a really neat 4 pane window from an old farmhouse that was built in the early 1800's. I was there when it was torn down and the main part of the house was a log cabin that they had put hand planed poplar siding over. I'm guessing from talking with the owner of the old house that the windows were put in in the late 1800's around 1870 or 1880. I have 7 of them. All very similar in appearance and condition. The glass has wavy spots that are really interesting. The wood frame is very solid. The window could actually be cleaned up and reused! No rot or insect damage. The window frame is 28" X 28 3/4" X 1-3/8" The actual windows are 25-5/8" X 5-1/2" The nine pics shown are all of the same window.

Antique wavy (rippled) window glass panes
I have 50 window sash/panes taken from our 1911 built Victorian home(25 double hung) The glass is wavy or"rippled" blown glass which was rolled flat. It's in good shape and some glass shows small desirable defects. The windows are of various sizes from smaller to very large. The largest window pane is 44X44. Or 1036 square inches. Doing some research one dealer I saw was willing to pay as much as $.16 per square inch. I am willing to negotiate a price much lower than this.

Antique wavy glass in their original sashes. Taken out of a home built in 1909. Has a very large arched window and numerous sashes. I do not have individual measurements on the sashes but have a list on the individual panes of glass. Considering wavy glass sells for about 15 cents per square inch this is a huge deal. I am a contractor and do not have the room or the need for so many windows however I would hate to haul them to the dump. There is a total of 47.984 sq inches. That's over $7000 worth of wavy glass. Here is a very nice vintage wood sash that measures 28' wide by 33' high. The glass is intact with one of the panes cracked. The panes of glass measure 7 3/4' wide by 9 3/4' high and is WAVY. The exterior of the sash is an aged white and the interior is old varnish. Of course the sash being the size it is. It is very heavy. This sash could be used for many different craft projects-menu-wedding or what ever you would like to do with it. When I pack a sash. Penn Antique Restoration. 24"x29" Antique Window w/Arched Wavy Glass Lite. Exquisite. Antique, window salvaged from an old home in Northeastern Pennsylvania. The frame is made of either solid pine or Douglas Fir and features a beautiful, old, arched, wavy glass lite. When most people hear"pine" they think of a cheap. Weak, soft wood. New pine hewn from 10- 20 year old trees don't have the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old have. Old pine is also much harder and stronger than young pine. Hardware: No hardware included. However. If you would like the hardware replaced, we have a good selection of period hardware to outfit the door(check out our eBay store) Condition: The glass is completely intact and in great shape with only very ... morelight scratches here and there. On the exterior side of the frame the top rail is chipped; and there is a break in one of the bottom corners. On the interior side. The top rail has 2 dents. Otherwise. The frame is in very good shape with only surface scrapes, scratches, small nail holes-minor cosmetic blemishes, which would be removed during the finishing process or covered if painted. The glazier's putty around the glass on the exterior side of the window is old and brittle. Although some of it remains. Lot of 8 very old window glass panes with wavy glass plus two extras with issues. These came out of a very old house. I wiped them off but they still could use a cleaning. They have varying tinges of aqua. Lots of imperfections and bubbles. The thickness of the glass varies from one side to another. Some are extremely thin on one side. Others are thicker.
