This light has not been tested. It is in as found condition. The glass all looks good. I don't see any cracks or chips. There is one crack in the wood at the top corner which I have shown in my pictures. I have taken many pictures so you can see it's condition. It hangs about 21 1/2 inches from the ceiling and the wood and glass shade measures 9 1/2 inches tall and 6 3/4 inches on each of the four sides at the bottom. The canopy( part that attaches to the ceiling) appears to be brass. The slag glass in in greens and deep red tones. If you have any questions. Please email me before bidding. This is a beautiful mission oak hat/coat rack with plate display shelf. The 7 Hooks are Brass Cherubs This shelf was made in the early 1900s. It measures 45 1/2" long and it is 15 1/2" tall and 5 1/2" deep and has two grooves for displaying plates. It is in excellent vintage condition. Up for auction is a rare Benedict Karnak 708 brass arts and crafts/1920s Egyptian wall hanging match holder. This match holder has a central match holder and 4 brass rings on the front. The rings and hanging chain are brass in color and the front is more silver in color. The back has an original black patina. The front appears to have been polished and has some swirled polish marks on it. The front has an Egyptian mask on it. This is true arts and crafts style. The reverse is marked Benedict Karnak Brass 708. The base measures 13 1/2 inches across. The top measure 10 3/8 inches across, from top to bottom it measures 5 5/8 inches and the entire piece, when hung(including chain and ring) measures 8 5/8 inches high. Each with hammer finished polished Copper mounts in the form of leaves and an Oak b ulb holder support with a Brass s piral binding. Presented upon diamond shaped English Oak back plates. No marks. Designer and Maker unknown, but all the decorative elements are handmade and hand finished. English. Circa 1900, with later additions and alterations. Originally Gas fittings. Antique mission style. Arts and crafts solid wood bookcase. All the style and craftsmanship of the Mission era as it is an original from that time. Original very dark burgundy paint. There are some flaws in the paint but it would be nice stripped or repainted. Stands straight and tall. Excellent size and height at 36 inches tall by 8 1/2 wide by 18 inches long. The pair are in good condition with expected patina. They have older wiring but it is working. Each sconce houses two 25W bulbs. Each sconce measures 11" tall. There is not much to say about these wonderful pieces except they are extremely heavy. The photos speak for them self, this is a good find. They have been in storage for many, many years, there is a marking on the one but not sure what it is see photos. They look to appear that the original black part was attached to the wook carved out part, see photos the one on the left is not all the way attached at the bottom it moves back and fourth. Not sure of the exact age, great find. They meausure the one on the left is 25" long on the wood and the other is 24" the black iron part is 22" long on each, I am sure that they can be removed if wanted to.

Offered is this beautiful pair of antique cast brass Victorian style wall sconce light fixtures. They are in very nice condition and are 100% original from the porcelain sockets to the fabric insulated wire. There is no manufacturers mark that I could find on them but they are extremely well made and of a very high quality. Each fixture measures 10 and 1/2 inches tall by 4 and 1/2 inches wide and will extend 6 inches out from the wall once mounted. One fixture is missing the candlestick cover tube as shown in the photos, I chose not to replace it so as to keep them all original and leave the replacement choice up to the buyers discretion. This is a hard to find antique octagon wall perpetual calendar. It is styled from the Mission/ Arts and Crafts era which dates from c. 1900-1925. I can find no markers mark on the outside( I have not looked inside of the piece) It is in good original found condition and seems to be in good working condition. The finish is original with a nice patina. It has the day of the week. The day of the month, and the month of the year presented on white cloth rolls. Unusual Bronze Original Arts & Crafts Dragon Wall Light Fitting, Sconce, Gothic
This is a very unusual Arts and Crafts wall light sconce featuring a mythical beast such as a coiling dragon or sea serpent. It has a small wings and a scaly body. The light fitting is made of bronze and has a brassed coating. It is very gothic in style and is approx. 23 cm( 9 inches) long. I would say it dates from the late 19th century when electricity became available in some homes. The fitting doesn't appear to be a conversion from gas although the brass bulb holder may be a replacement. There is a small old crack at the very base of the tail. This does not go right through and does not affect the stability of the sconce in any way. A line can be seen near the part which goes in to the wall, this may have occurred during casting, it is not damage. There is still some paint on this part. The part of the sconce which fixes to the wall ... morehas a hole on the edge, this can be seen on photograph 9. The sconce has just recently been removed from a large country house.
