Japaned finish Victorian window sash pulls Vintage NOS Hardware
I recently acquired several large boxes of vintage hardware from a Simmons Hardware in McComb Ohio. Alot of these items are in a marked boxes and have hand writing on the from the old school fountain pens or even quill pens.not real sure. These items were never used and some of them have patent dates from the 1800's. Many pieces are not marked on the item itself at all. Even though these items are N.O.S. some of thes still have patina and some even have some rust from over 100 years of humidity etc. There is so much stuff I do not have the time to clean all of it so a lot of the items will be as found. My father had a hardware store from 1946 to 1983. When he closed it. He brought the merchandise to his house where it has been since. He recently passed away and it is now my task to sell this merchandise. For sale is 1 Brass plated cast steel/ iron transom window pull catch. The catches are unused and the finish is in fair condition with some checking and slight rust especially underneath. The catch measures 1-1/4" x 2-1/4" x 1/2" and 2-5/8" from tip to end of pull and about 1" high overall. The pull is 1/4" thick. It measures 30 1/2" wide x 25 1/2" high. The best part is that there is no lead paint. Putty or old glass to deal with, just add your own finish or leave as is. There is no glass and overall is in good condition, some nicks, dings and stains mostly from age. We have more than one available as well as a number of other different sizes and style listed.
