Antique Vintage MISSISSIPPI GLASS Industrial Salvage Salesman Wood Box Glass Kit
This salesman's kit was for specialty glass manufacturer/distributor Mississippi Glass. I am guessing that it was made sometime in the 1950's. There are 27 pieces of various glass styles contained within the wood box. The box is well made out of oak and has dove-tailed joints. The box measures 9" x 5" x 4-1/2" and the glass pieces are about 3-1/2" x 4" but some vary in size? Since this was a"traveling" kit that the salesman took to residences and/or contractors. The box is a little beat-up. But the box and glass are still enduring. Just the box alone makes for a great storage venue for the office/desk.
