Not sure where they picked it up from so that all the history I have on it. The bar was torn down and I bought it up from the demo crew. My plans have changed and I don't have a use for it anymore I would like to sell it to someone that can use this beautiful piece. I was told it would cost $14.000.00 to make this today. The window is 5 feet tall and it is 8 feet wide at the bottom. There is a wood frame around the window but it does need some work to be repaired. The bottom window sill is damaged/rotted/missing and needs to be replaced. When this was installed it also had a piece of clear glass on both sides to protect it. One of them cracked as I set it down on my garage floor and was taken off and tossed. The stained glass is still perfect. It shows age and the brass pieces are starting to tarnish a little. The window dropped down out of the wood frame and we just turned it over and it went back in. I now have a board holding it all together. Vintage, casement window stays salvaged from the windows of a former cream production plant(see last photos) in Southeastern Pennsylvania. The plant was built during the 1890's, however, these most likely replaced the originals sometime during the middle of the previous century. Each stay is made of solid steel. And was originally brass plated. Much of the plating wore off over the years leaving them with a nice, distressed finish. The amount of plating varies from part to part(see"Group photos" to compare) If you are not familiar with this type of hardware. It keeps the window open at a specified distance from the sill. When you wish to open the window, loosen the knob by simply turning it in a counter clockwise direction. Open the window as far as you like, and once you wish to lock it in place, simply turn the knob clockwise until can't turn anymore. This will prevent wind from moving the window. At the point of salvage. The stays were painted, dirty, and rusty(see"Prior to restoration" photo) Since then, we've spent hours removing the paint, cleaning the dirt and rust from the outside of each stay, and greasing them to facilitate their movement. All stays are in great shape with no breaks. Cracks, deep scratches, or gouges. All moveable parts move smoothly. Antique/Vintage Architectural Window Sash From 1800's Farmhouse.Some Wavy Glass
This is a really neat 4 pane window from an old farmhouse that was built in the early 1800's. I was there when it was torn down and the main part of the house was a log cabin that they had put hand planed poplar siding over. I'm guessing from talking with the owner of the old house that the windows were put in in the late 1800's around 1870 or 1880. I have 7 of them. All very similar in appearance and condition. The glass has wavy spots that are really interesting. The wood frame is very solid. The window could actually be cleaned up and reused! No rot or insect damage. The window frame is 28" X 28 3/4" X 1-3/8" The actual windows are 25-5/8" X 5-1/2" The nine pics shown are all of the same window.

Up for auction are a pair of vintage antique brass plated metal casement transit window architectural hardware recently found at auction in the suburban Philadelphia. PA area. They are found in good used condition, are metal and attract a magnet. This hardware is brass platted or finished and retains quite a bit of its off white painted surface. This is a Beautiful Set of 3. Tall" Hand Crafted 1800's Old Wooden Shutters, Real Architectural Pieces removes from home built in 1878 in the historic Central West End in St. Louis, Missouri. These shutters are handcrafted pieces made of solid wood with mortise and tendon joinery. Several layers of old paint present and chipping off(definitely helped protect the underlying wood over the years) The shutters are fixed(louvers do not move) They are each 79" x 17" 17.25" including lip) These three shutters all match and do not include hardware.
