VICTORIAN WINDOW SASH PULLS - SOLID BRASS - VERY ORNATE
FOR SALE- This is the best of the best- Here are 4 solid brass window sash pulls removed from a very old home here in central Illinois. I feel the home was probably built around 1870 or 1880. These are just fabulous as they are very ornate- intricate- fancy- they are special. These handles are extra heavy as the 4 have a combined weight of almost 1 pound 2 ounces. The overall size of each pull is 5 1/4" wide x 1 7/8" tall and each pull has the word LARGO stamped on the back. These all have there natural patina and have not had any cleaning solutions applied to them. I am positive you will not be disappointed with these. As my father would say“don’t be penny wise and pound foolish. FREE SHIPPING! 1 LARGE ANTIQUE VICTORIAN SOLID CAST BRASS WINDOW CABINET LATCH LOCKS#0 Hi folks. The BIN price is for one(1) of the pictured latches and one(1) keeper. This style and size and the fact that they are solid cast brass/bronze make these some of the hardest to find latches. These are primarily used on casement windows but they work well and look great on cabinets or other places you’d like to use a unique looking latch. The latch and keeper will work on either right or left hand side of door or window. The keepers are not the original to the latches. The keepers were modified so the latch could be surface mounted ... moreand the keeper would be semi mortised in the jam. The latches are cast bronze– brass and the keepers are steel. The working condition is very good with the latches having age darkening and loss of finish from usage. All I did to these was a quick wiping down with an oiled rag so you’re getting them in as found condition. But solid brass/bronze will polish up superbly using a buffing wheel with a dab of brass polish on a power drill. The approximate measurements of the latch is 6 ¼” long x 1 1/8” and the center to center of the screw holes is 1 3/8’ x ½” And the keeper is 1 5/8” wide x 1 5/8” and the center to center on the screw holes are 1” Free first class shipping in a padded envelope. Please check out my other latches I have listed. Oil has been applied but they should have a final cleaning and clear coated or painted for continued protection. Four rods or enough for 2 windows. Showing no breaks or pitting.But all four will require some wire brushing and a new coat of paint before use and there are no mounting brackets so you'll have to hunt some of them down and do to being solid cast iron the little tinny things just won't cut it. Each one is 16 3/4" long 4 3/4" tall at the tallest section not counting the mounting bar and the mounting bar is 3/8" wide and 2 1/8" tall. Pair Antique Victorian Louvered Solid Shutters Graduated Panel Widths 34+H X 57W
Unusual louvered and solid panel shutters. Each panel gets gradually narrower in width from the outside(solid) panel measuring approximately 8 1/2" to 6" on inside panel. One side is a stained finish. The other is flat black(faded) These open accordian style with each panel having a"lip" that fits with next panel. Lovely old hinges, two knobs and one latch set. These are stained. Dusty, dirty, scuffed, etc. Probably the original finish-not refinished. There is a crack at the bottom of one of the solid panels(see pics) I think this could be reglued and clamped. Does not seem to be affecting integrity of shutters. Each side measures 34 3/8" x 28 1/2" for total of 57" wide. I have a no return policy. So please review photos carefully and ask questions before buying. VICTORIAN SOLID BRONZRE WINDOW SASH LOCK PROBABLY BY EASTLAKE
Here for sale in my opinion is a rare Victorian solid brass window sash lock that was probably made by Eastlake. I cleaned it up somewhat so you could see the beauty of this lock and it also is in great working order. I hope my pictures show how ornate or intricate this lock is. As you can see in my pictures it has stamped on it PAT Jan 4 and June 13 1876. Hard to believe this lock is 138 years old. Maybe this is just what your looking for to give that one room in your house that Victorian look or perhaps you collect Victorian window sash locks.
