STAINED GLASS WINDOW - VICTORIAN ERA ORIGINAL
Beautiful Victorian era stained glass window. Original frame. Meaures 44" wide by 24 3/8" tall. Tan side is the outside. Very small cracks in two areas. Frame naturally shows some wear since it was an exterior window. Lead came in excellent condition. We have personally owned this window for over twenty years. We remodeled the kitchen and didn't have an area for it afterwards. It was not exposed to the elements while we owned it. It was framed inside the home. Antique Wooden Wood Victorian Era Shutters Good Old Green Paint 4 Pairs 67 x 15"
This auction is for local pick-up only and features 4 pairs of antique wooden shutters. Each shutter measures approx. 67 ½ x 15 ¼ inches. There is a slight variance in width because one of the pair is the inner shutter and has a more pronounced“lip” to allow the outer shutter to rest in the fold. These are all matched pairs and are structurally sound. There are no missing slats. And the frames are solid with no fear of them falling apart. Of course, these have several layers of good old paint, and the paint of course has flaked in a few areas. No dry-rot, no holes. Each has hardware both on the top and the bottom, and we have pictured one of each to show you what it looks like. If you need any other measurements, please let us know. These are pick-up only. Victorian Era Oak Interior Shutters w/Original Ornate Iron Latch&Porcelain Knob
Offered here is a set of 2 four paneled interior shutters in their original finish. Each set measures 11 3/4" wide and 38 5/8" tall individually and 23 1/4" wide when placed together in the closed position( width discrepancy is due to the built in overlap on the edges) As the pictures show. There is a difference in the coloration and they have scratches and wear in keeping with their age. There is some gold paint residue on the porcelain knobs. They are sturdy and absolutely functional. This one has some old paint some rust does not turn now but looks like with some attention it could be brought to working order. There is another cast iron style with a knob which also has some old paint and doesn't turn but should be able to be freed. The last one is a lock only with no matching catch. Antique Victorian Cast Iron and Brass Sash Lock out of 1900 era Italianite
I have rescued these from an 1890-1900 era house which was torn down. I was able to clean layers of paint off of them and they are beautiful. All are in working order and can be thrown either right or left. They have ornate flower designs on them as well. Price is per each. Thank you for viewing.
