2 Antique adjustable curtain rods Victorian ornate ball finial metal set vintage
Take a look at this lovely set of 2 Antique Victorian ornate ball finial metal adjustable telescoping curtain rods with original enamel! The enamel is worn down to the green primer is some spots. And chipped in others, giving it a great shabby chic look! They adjust aprox. from 30" to 50" each half-rod being 27" in length. One set still retains the tips on the ball finials(which are also removable) and the other set does not. You will receive 4 half rods(2 complete rods) as shown in the photos. The rods mount with simple thin nails to your wall, having a drill-through next to each finial. They are fairly straight for the age.

Here we have for bid are these very NICE 1880's Eastlake window sash locks. These 23 BEAUTIES starting with the ones on the upper left are 2 1/2 inches across and the ones in the middle are 2 inches across and the far right and bottom locks are 2 inches and 2 1/4 inches across. As you can see these are various designs. The LARGE ones on the top left have SOLID brass or brons bottoms but the top and all others have a NICE design and most are CAST IRON and a few have BRASS centers. These are just fabulous as they are very ornate- intricate- fancy- they are special. These handles are extra heavy as the 4 have a combined weight of almost 1 pound 2 ounces. Offered here is a set of 2 four paneled interior shutters in their original finish. Each set measures 11 3/4" wide and 38 5/8" tall individually and 23 1/4" wide when placed together in the closed position( width discrepancy is due to the built in overlap on the edges) As the pictures show. Here are 7 sets of old ornate window latches or locks. They look to be in from the Victorian era. They do need to be cleaned up, a few have paint on them, but, the levers move back and forth and they do latch into the latching piece. They will be packed with the screws that came with them, when they were removed from the old house my husband was working on, not sure if all the screws are there or not. I am also not sure what kind of metal these are made of. They measure about 2 5/8 inches long on the lever side, and 2 1/4 inches long on the latching side. They are a fairly ornate, Victorian design and probably date prior to the 1920s, I would guess. They have little steel spring hinges and teeth that would clasp onto fabric nicely. They measure about 1 1/2" long. They opening where a rod would go through is about 5/8" and they would easily slide on a 1/2" diameter rod. There is some variation in the finish- some are fairly bright, but most have an older looking patina. REDUCED! VICTORIAN BRONZE SASH LIFTS. Ornate. Window. 1884 Branford "Ivy"
COLLECTOR QUALITY CAST BRONZE SASH LIFTS The lot consists of 2 cast bronze sash lifts. The fist lift was made by a quality manufacturer of the 1970's. Perhaps Russell& Erwin, Corbin, or Hopkins and Dickenson. It is cast in heavy bronze and features classical floral design characters of the period. The heart-shape is quite becoming, and the top of the finger lift has a a design that matches the body. It's really one of the finest sash lifts I have come across. The lift was non-destructively polished. There is a small defect, possibly from casting, on the right outside edge just where the finger pull ends- I only noticed it when I looked at the enlarged photo. The body of the lift has a very slight curve in the upper portion, perhaps from casting, as the bronze is so heavy it's unlikely it could have been bent. It will fit quite ... moresnugly when mounted on the window sash. It measure about 1-1/2" wide by 1-1/2" high. The second one was made by Branford Lock Works. Branford, CT and dates from 1884. It features an attractive Branford pattern called"Ivy" designed by J.J. Kennedy, who received Design Pat. 14,538 on Jan 8, 1884. The back of the lift is stamped with"DESIGN PAT JAN 8 84" The front of the lift features the same Ivy design seen in the knobs and plates of this Branford design suite. Crafted in heavy cast bronze, 1-7/8" wide and about 1-1/2" high. The finger lift is strong and shows no metal fatigue. Back quite flat. Design has some residue of brass polish, or perhaps superficial greenish corrosion, but there is no pitting. These pieces are priced to reflect the quality and rarity.

This is quite beautiful. It's a victorian decorative cast iron window latch lock. It is complete, it measures 1 inch together at screws, 2 inches wide at the middle, 2 inches long, and about 1 inch high. The design if very ornate, similar to an East Lake hardware piece, but I don't see any markings on the piece for identification. Antique window lock. Very ornate Eastlake - Victorian style - teapot
Very ornate- I like to refer to it as a'teapot' style. This is an original very nice window lock that you push the lever down and move over and pops back up opening or closing. Has the original screws and pics from every side and underneath. There are two different patterns here. Pictured, and each measure 1-7/8 inches tall. Two do not have a top cap, and one is missing the spring. To operate pull the handle end knob to unlock and turn to unlatch. To latch simply turn the handle and the spring-loaded lock engages. All are embossed on the back RE Co. for Russell Erwin. A strong spring about the axle of the lever tends to throw it open while a small bolt inside the lever locks into a concealed catch on the post or axle of the lever. The bolt ends in a knob and is fitted with a spring which keeps it pressed tightly towards the center so that the lever is caught and held when it is turned clear around through 90 degrees.
