ANTIQUE VANITY 1890's APOLLO SILVER SHAVING MIRROR ARTS CRAFTS DECO VICTORIAN
APOLLO SILVER CO 1890's antique silver plate adjustable shaving mirror made by Apollo Silver co. It has a beveled glass swing mirror with a leather back. Milk glass cup insert and a rod that adjusts beveled mirror from 15" to 20" in height. Has silver plated hangers for shaving brush and razor(no razor) both in good condition. Mirror has good reflective quality though it does have some color imperfection~see pics~not bad for over 120 years old. Mirror is fully adjustable side to side; up and down and tipped to any angle. Leather back is invery nice condition. Adjustable rod works well and easily(thumb screw has been replaced) Thick heavy milk glass cup insert in excellent condition, no chips, no cracks. bottom of base is cast iron is embossed on bottom with"APOLLO" the top of base is silver plate. The Apollo Silver ... moreCo was founded in New York in 1885 and bought out by Bernard Rice and Sons(BRS) in 1899. For awhile after the buyout. Their products were all engraved with the BRS or Bernard Rice and Sons and Apollo. I have not attempted to clean this piece other than dusting it and wiping mirror. Antique Iron Door Handle Escutcheon Plate Arts&Crafts Victorian Art Deco Lockset This great set of antique door hardware has an Arts& Crafts or Art Deco feel. The escutcheon plate measures 8 3/4" x 2" and has an Art Deco outline. With Arts& Crafts relief. The pull type h andle measures 5 1/4" long x 1 1/2" wide(including offset) x 2 1/2" high. And has wonderful Arts& Crafts motifs.The accompanying lockset measures 3" x 4 3/4" and has the patina'd finish on one side and is black on the back. These pieces appear to be constructed of iron. ANTIQUE VICTORIAN ORNATE ART DECO ARTS & CRAFTS CAST IRON WALL SCONCE FIXTURE
Up for your consideration is an antique victorian ornate art deco arts and crafts style bronze copper colored with lightly painted highlighted areas electric wall sconce fixture. It seems to be made of cast metal? steel? and measures 11 1/2" long x 4 3/4" wide. The turn switch is right under the bulb holder and it says P&S on it and seems to be in turning working condition. On the socket it looks to read 250VV 50V PAT'D JULY 1909 read through a loop. It does have a couple of very minor small places with very light paint loss. I don't see a makers mark on the back. I don't know if it works as it hasn't been tested so it might need to be updated for good working condition. It would make a nice piece to add charm to your antique or vintage home or projects. antique CAST IRON WALL SCONCE old victorian art deco arts and crafts wall light
Up for sale is this matched set of two antique cast iron wall sconce. They are in just as found original condition. Both have there original pull chain Leviton porcelain sockets and old cloth wires. They measure 9 1/2 inch tall. 5 1/2 inch wide, would stick out from the wall 4 inch, takes a standard sized light bulb. They have not been tested to work, they are antique and would need the wiring checked by a professional to use. Condition is very good antique, original painted finish is better than most of this age I have seen, no chips or cracks in the cast iron. They sell just like you see them in the photos, check them all to know what you are bidding on please.

Lovely Brass Letterbox Nice patina. But could also be polished to a shine Two flaws that I can see. The first is that it very occasionally sticks so it won't close fully. I imagine this would be solved with a bit of WD40 or a little bit of force. The second is that one of the fixing screws is bent as pictured below. Measures 11.5 x 14.5cm Very solid/ heavy.
