Istanbul Agop Idris Muhammad 22” Signature Ride 3.100 gr. This is just an awesome cymbal. Very versatile. It is a heavy cymbal but very sensitive, an amazing bell. Just listen to John Scofield's Groovelation CD and you'll get the idea. I really hate having to sell it, but I need extra cash to pay some bills. I purchased this one here on eBay last year, it was in like new condition. I have played it maybe 10 times between practice and gigs with Zildjian Jazz or Bill Stewart signature sticks(very light, I’m not a hard hitter) so the cymbal is in almost new contidion. No nicks, scratches, cracks or keyholing, only some marks from red drumsticks I had to use at a gig(it was a gig out of town, forgot stick bag and the only 7A stick at the local shop was red, go figure…I actually did not notice the marks until I got home) Flat shipping@ ... more25 bucks, this one is heavy. 1967-1977 Turkish Zildjian K 20" Ride, 2076g, Made in Istanbul- THE REAL DEAL!
For your consideration is a gorgeous. Jazzy Istanbul-made K Zildjian ride. This cymbal is right in the"medium" sweet spot, weighing at 2076 grams with a wonderful, distinct bell. This cymbal is crashable and as a metallic stick with good definition. Certainly a perfect cymbal for light to medium volume music or for the studio. This piece has some wear around the hole. Specifically a 3mm crack and a 2mm keyhole, both of which are stable and have not grown. The cymbal has a normal level of patina and some tape residue on the back. All in all. This is a rare and fantastic cymbal representing the end of the classic era of K Zildjian cymbals. This auction is for a 22” Flat ride cymbal hand hammered in Turkey by the Istanbul Agop company. Special Edition series, very thin, weighing approx. 1921gr. It has two cluster rivets installed. The cymbal is from my own collection and is in MINT condition with no crack. Dent, warp, or other funky business. THIN THIN THIN cymbal! Beautiful Orient Express Istanbul railroad hurricane student electric brass lamp with adjustable shade. It's approximately 20" tall to the top of decorative rod and 6 1/2" square base* footed leg to leg* The brass shade can be moved easily up and down. The brass could use some polishing does have alittle patina on base and some other spots of discoloration that could be easily polished with brass polish. It works perfect. Chimney is missing and doesn't include bulb. The shade has no dents with only a small amount of light scratches, nothing deep. I want to mention where the rod goes through the shade there's a small amount of bending around opening, doesn't seem to cause any issues. The shade is 10" bottom diameter and 4 1/4" tall. Alchemy (by Istanbul Agop) 21" Raw Jazz Ride - light
This is a 21" Alchemy(made by Istanbul Agop) Raw Jazz Ride. I special ordered this with the jazz ride profile. Which has a much flatter bell and bow than the regular raw rides. I also requested it lighter than normal, and though it's not extremely light, it weighs a versatile 2664g(a"normal" raw ride that I had was over 3300 grams, so it certainly is light by comparison to that, but it's not as light as I was expecting) The sound is dark with a clear, raw stick sound over a complex, dark, raw spread. It's a beauty. The bell is mellow and integrated, which is why I requested the lower"jazz ride" profile when I ordered it. This bell definitely does not clang. Overall, this is a versatile, medium light, raw ride. I've used mainly for jazz applications, but I could also see it working really well for folk, ... morelight rock, blues, as well as many other styles. 20" Istanbul Mehmet Vezir Flat Ride
Beautiful sounding flat ride. 2663 grams. I used it(very lightly) while I was studying jazz percussion. But now that school's done. I'm not really playing any jazz. No keyholing. Since someone asked about loudness: This flat ride is a little louder than the average flat ride. It could be used as a main ride for a jazz band. As long as there aren't too many horns. Also. I have some rivets that I'd be glad to through in with the ride. I almost put them in as it's an ideal ride for them.
