I checked and ... moreit is water tight and the handle is also nice and tight. The top is marked with a#8. Holds approx one gallon. There are areas of wear and markings on this can but I think it just adds to it's character. Take a look at the pictures and ask all questions before bidding. It is 12" tall to top of handle and is 7 1/2" in diameter. This watering can comes with two sprinkler heads. Both having the remnants of the original red and green paint. Both heads fit the spout. One sprinkler is about 3 1/2" in diameter and the other is 2 3/4" in diameter. I will mention that when pouring water through the sprinkler heads water does drip through the screw fitting area. It does not affect the way the water comes through the head. I tried to show a picture of how both heads pour. If you look close you will see it is not a perfect shower but not so bad that you drench the flower pot.

Industrial Age" heavy duty, early American piece of farm and garden equipment; ready for decorative presentation or old time use. Offered here is an original(circa 1930-40) rugged, galvanized steel REEVES farm bucket, with the original durable bail handle. The early milking parlor pail maintains that strong quality, seen with REEVES products; having those heavy seams and tough rivets. The vintage farm, watering, feed or garden bucket appears to be roughly four gallons, with the steel bucket standing 10 1/2" height x 12 3/8" top diameter x 9 5/8" base diameter. The vintage REEVES galvanized bucket is in super solid, very good condition; being a presentation worthy farm compliment. The pail shows strong steel, holding liquids with no concerns. Old Vintage Antique Primitive Water Well Pail Bucket Galvanized Steel
Old primitive water well bucket. Heavy gauge galvanized steel. Riveted on bell handle. Has had 4 weep holes drilled into the bottom where it has been used as a planter. Very old and very cool bucket. It stands 10 3/4 inches tall. 12 inches from side to side at the top, and 9 1/2 across the bottom. Full size ol' timey well bucket.

Old ORIGINAL antique water well bucket with pulley. And chain. Not sure how old it is but would guess it is from at least as far back as the 1940s. Item is very old but is in great shape. No holes, does have a small dent in the side which was typical of them hitting the top of the well.
