This is a very cool old cooking basket for over the fire. Comparisons that I could find call it a popcorn basket. But if this was used for popcorn you would have to use foil in the bottom. You could cook burgers. Hot dogs, fish. Corn.etc.Great for camping! The basket measures 11" in length. And 7.5" wide, 3.5" deep. The wood handle is interesting because it actually has imprints carved in it for fingers and thumb. So. The underside of the handle has 4 spaces for fingers, then on top, there is one for your thumb. This has obviously seen much use. And could use a good cleaning if you intend to use it to cook. Could also be great primitive decor. I take great care when shipping. Oil plunger occasionally. The amber colored jar/tank holds at least 16 oz. of insecticide and has a two measurement guides in ounces on its two sides. Antique Vintage Five Arm Hand Held Seeder Wood Handle Works No markings. Sorry for the yellow tint to the second photo. Caused by the blue background confusing the camera. Unusual in that there are five instead of four seed-throwing arms. Action seems normal except that the wear of the gears on the shafts has made them loose and the large gear wobbles. But works. The flow of seed is started by pulling back on the lever on the side of the platform and holding it or locking it in place. All nails and screws used to attach the various parts parts of the seeder to the platform are not authentic vintage. Diameter of seed-throwing plate about 11 inches in diameter. Replacement platform is about 15 inches long, 4 1/4 inches wide. Vintage Garden sprayer, syringe, solid brass, turned wood handle, 12"
Vintage Solid brass sprayer for the garden(is my guess) This could also be a large syringe for some other purpose. The overall length is 12" with a 1" diameter barrel. It has a nicely turned brass nozzle that unscrews. It also has a nicely turned wooden handle that still has remains of the original black finish. The overall condition is good with a few very small dents or dings to the brass barrel and a little corrosion to the brass that could be cleaned up if you prefer that type of look.

This is a sickle or scythe as far as I can tell. The blade is on the outer edge though. And I honestly don't even know how to use it. This at one point belonged to my grandfather and my dad won't let me scrap it. I find modern cutting methods a bit more precise and powerful. It has some surface rust but is in good condition. There are no nicks in the blade. The handle part is made of wood and measures 6” long. There are a couple of cracks in the wood handle. Vintage Primitive HAND GARDEN TOOL ~ Sythe / SICKLE / Scythe ~ Wood Handle
I believe this O'l Timer has done his time in the field and is ready for a nice retirement home! This auction is for a vintage Hand Sickle/ Scythe Garden/ Yard Tool. This is obviously from many many years ago. I don't find a manufacturer mark on it but know it was made in the USA. I have not done any cleaning on this; it is in" As found" condition. When I sell these old hand tools I normally say something like" Still very serviceable" But in this fellow's case, I think he has earned Retirement status and belongs on a wall as a decoration. His blade is loose as one screw has backed out some. His handle is rough and cracked. And the ferrule at the top of the handle is loose( 5th picture) the last 2 pictures show it put loosely back in place. Now his blade is still fairly sharp; it has some surface rust. I really ... morethink if you wanted to give him a few more swings. He'd do the job- but let's let him finish his years in retirement. Dimensions: Blade is about 11" long with the over-all length being 20" and the wood handle at 5½" Material: All steel with the handle being wood Condition: He is in fair condition.
