this cute antique old wrought iron base with cement top garden/patio table stand was originally found stored away in a barn and I would date it to mid century. I just briefly cleaned it but it could use a much better cleaning. it measures 29 1/2' high and the base is 24' square and the tip is 18' in diameter. its in excellent condition for its age with no damages. the top is not permanently fixed to the base but that could easily be done with screws or a construction glue if desired. this would have a shop value of hundreds. Up for consideration is a fine pair of Antique Campagna form Cast Iron Miniature or Table Top or Garden Urns. They measure 9 3/4 inches tall by 8 1/2 inches wide. They have been painted silver some time ago. Each carries a Victorian number"3" cast in the base. Possibly salesman samples or factory size or Identification marks. Similar urns in the historical record do not have this number cast in the base. These date about 1890's or so. Whereas other examples extend further into the early 20th century. Antique Wrought Iron Garden Gate~Porcelain Knob~Arched Top~Very Unique~Heavy
Up for your consideration today is an antique cast iron garden gate with arched top. I took the pic with the gate laying on it's side because it was too heavy for me to stand up. It still has the porcelain knob and what looks to be a locking mechanism at one time. It is rusty and dilapidated in spots but still functional. It looks like someone tried to save it by attaching it to cast iron pipes on either side of the gate. Still functioning gate but in order to use it this way. You will have to bury the bottom ends of the poles or either attach to fence posts. Great style with arched top. Measures 85" from arch to bottom of gate- 36" wide. The poles measure 10'2" overall from top to bottom. I was told by the previous owner this was the gate used for entering the garden going to the slave quarters so I'm assuming ... morethis is true and the gate probably dates to around the 1850's or sooner. VTG Metal Sphere Ball w/Tip Architectual Salvage Garden Fence Top Statue Decor
This is a great architectural salvage piece. Measuring approx. 14.5 inches tall from top of tip to bottom and 6 1/2 inches wide on base. It is a thin. Lightweight metal and as you can see from the bottom that it is a gray colored metal, but it is heavily oxidized and has layers on the outside of it in shades of brown and white.it is weathered and has A LOT of character to it. I have taken pictures from all sides. I do not know the actual age or the original intended use of this piece. it may have been a topper for a fence? Vintage retro era garden table and 4 chairs. This set also includes 2 table leaves. The metal sides and chairs have beautiful metal work. The top is pink formica. Spray paint and recover the chairs and you will have a stunning set. The table is round with the leaves out is 34 inches across the center. The table leaves are 11 inches each and as they are added it is more oblong. Great set.
