Vintage W L Davey Corp Cast Iron/Brass Hand Well Water Pump Farm Tool Primitive
Vintage pump marked W. L. Davey Corp. Rockford. Ill. This pump measures 20" tall, the base is 9" x 4 1/2" and the handle is about 18 1/2" long. The top spout part is threaded and is 1" the other one 1/2 way down is also threaded and is 3/4" The body part is brass as well as some of the other fittings, the rest is cast iron. The handle moves freely, there are no cracks, welds or breaks in the cast iron. There are various cast#s on a few of the parts, see pictures for details. Hasn't been tested or used in years, might need new"guts" or would be great for garden decor. Ships USPS Standard(economy) or Priority w/$5.00 handling which includes tracking and insurance.

This is 5 ½” long x 3 ½” wide and 1 ¾” depth at the widest point. Still has a good cutting edge. This has been lightly cleaned but has never been wire brushed. It is in very good to excellent shape. Old Primitive Antique Bulb Digger Hand Held Planter Wood & Iron Americana Folk
Old Primitive Antique Bulb Digger Hand Held Planter Wood& Iron Americana Folk So. I went to the auction of a lifetime this past weekend. A storage barn of an antiques dealer that passed about 10 years ago. She specialized in early primitives and American folk art and boy-oh-boy you do not want to miss this week. I took photos of the items that I bought for one full day, and still am not finished– but decided to go ahead and list what I have– enjoy! You know. I've only ever sold one other of these before- it's a fabulous antique garden tool that you still could use today. What I have is an old bulb digger/planter. A simple too, with a solid oak handle that is capped with an iron spike at the end. It's really comfortable to hold, and appears to be hand made. It measures 4" long at the handle, and then turns and is 9 1/2 ... morelong from the corner to the end of the spike. It weighs just over 1/2 lb, so is pretty hefty for the size. The spike is attached with 3 small nails or pins- whatever you call them. It will wiggle ever so slightly if you jiggle it back and forth, but don't worry, it's slight(and may be original to the making) the spike is well attached and this is a totally usable tool. The wood is in excellent condition structurally and shows lots of wear from age and use- there's scratches, scrapes, nicks, dings, dark spots and light spots. I'm showing you the largest scrape in photo 14- it's about 1" and it's shallow and right up by the top of the spike on one side. The spike has surface rust that is very light, old and smooth- just part of the patina- which is dark for the whole thing. It's a fabulous antique tool that looks as good as it works! Offered is this early corn harvesting farm tool once used for cutting stalks by hand. This features an 11 inch steel blade on a 24 inch wooden handle. The blade is held securely with two casted steel brackets and two square head bolts and nuts. The ends of the bolts were flared with a hammer to keep them permanently attached to the nuts. There are no visible makers identification marks. Condition: There is wood checking at the blade end of the handle and the blade is rusty. All original pieces are intact and in stable condition.

Primitive Gardening Hand Held Tool, Beautifully Made!
Offered is a beautiful Primitive Hand Held Gardening Tool. It is made of metal and has a wood handle. This tool is very much a work of art how it was made. Coming out of the handle are four strands of metal that were curled and separated into four prongs that were formed into a fork like hand that was used for gardening. The metal brace that holds the prongs together has surface rust. The wood handle was black but is worn just enough to make the patina beautiful. I see no manufacturer markings on this tool. It measures about 12 1/4" long. It is in great functioning condition and certainly could still be used for gardening. This is not only a gardening tool. But really a work of art. A wonderful addition to any collection.

For auction is a great vintage/ antique metal garden hand rake. It is used and weathered. Rustic, perfect for yard art, country style or vintage decor look or to make a perfect addition to your collection. The head of rake is metal and handle is wooden although it is almost entirely wrapped with what appears to be electrical tape. Looks like it has been that way forever, meaning it actually blends in. Welcome to Papa& Nana Treasures* UP FOR AUCTION IS A: Nice vintage primitive antique water well pump. It is about 13" tall. Base is 7" across, spout 4" and the handle is about 13 1/2" long. Paint is still very nice and is clearly marked Columbiana Ohio USA Columbiana pump company and has the following numbers 2083 on the main part, 2082 on the handle and 2085 on the base. In very good condition! Just a GREAT estate find! My goal in my picture taking is for you to feel like you are holding the item. Which is why I post many. An antique garden or farm hand seeder by an unknown maker. The tool is of hardwood construction with sturdy galvanized buckets and mechanism. The unit is 33" tall and is still functional or great to display. The seeder has wear from age and use over years but is still very solid and largely free of rust save for a small bit on the planting mechanism. Uncommon two bucket seeder. This is a nice vintage hand garden tool! This auction is for a vintage Hand Garden Tool ~ Fork or Cultivator. This is obviously from many many years ago but is still straight and very serviceable. Many times I see these with the tines horribly bent. Not this one, it has been well cared for. I can't find any marking as to the manufacturer. I have not done any cleaning on this; I believe steel wool or a wire brush would easily remove the surface rust. Dimensions: 10 1/8" long. Material: All steel with the handle tip being wood Condition: This is in very good and very serviceable condition. There is some surface rust here and there as you can see in the pictures. You are bidding on a Vintage Primitive CYCLONE Hand Crank Seed Spreader Sower Farm Tool. Farmers used to walk the fields planting seeds by filling the bag. Adjusting the seed drop hole and turning the handle that would throw the seeds out. Besides a great wall hangar this spreader works. There is rust on the metal parts and a few holes, see pictures.
