DESCRIPTION: This is a very durable. Beautiful and unusual stone planter with a plumbed drainage hole and has more than enough planting space for a one gallon plant. It is unique in shape because of the wavy. Notched rim but also style as it is designed with six faces of Athena. The Goddess of War. Encircle this amazing piece. No matter which side faces you. What is especially nice is the classic weathered white patina. It is a very traditional and sophisticated antique white, very nice color which works indoors too. As you can see this statue has small pocks. Pitting and general erosion from the original antique, but unlike that item which was clearly deteriorating. This casting is secure and 100% intact. It is obviously not made of chintzy plastic or chippy plaster but is solid cement concrete and entirely safe to plant directly and keep outdoors. Antique Vintage Architectural Outdoor Garden Whirligig Metal Art Airplane 2
Here is a pretty unique old metal art lawn ornament whirligig. This looks quite old and I believe it may have been hand made. Two airplanes balance on each end of an iron rod and the iron rod spins quite freely. The total width of this piece with both airplanes is about 33" This piece rests on an iron pole that goes into the ground- the total height of this pole is about 39" and about 7" of that would go into the ground. The planes are just great pieces of metal art work from the double wing design to the spinning propeller. This whirligig has a red/light blue plane and a navy blue/green plane. The original owner told me it had been hanging in the same place since he was a kid and he was 79 years old. Great patina on this piece that can only acquired through age. The Chair as a whole is 24.5" high, 14 3/4" at the widest part, and 14" front to back. The chair seat is 10" front to back, and 12" high on the back. There is the issue of some rust, and one of the bolts or pins that holds the seat stable to the post is broke, so you or someone, will have to put a new pin in or solder this one. This was removed from very old Victorian style farmhouse in Pennsylvania it was in what they considered the washhouse these are very hard to find and very desirable. This has a spot in the one corner that has been repaired. This can be seen in several of the photos. This is a cast but does not appear to be heavy enough to be iron. This includes a stub of pipe that will bolt with ball socket directly to bottom of sink. This also has the strainer in bottom.
