It's a very obviously used& very obviously sold in as is condition. But it's a nice piece. Very unique. The piece I have added was also found on the same farm. Buried in the grass behind the old pole barn. It looks like a piece of hand forged iron. Look carefully at the way it's designed- it looks like it might have been a brace for an axle on a wagon. This piece dates back probably to the early1800s maybe the 1700s- who knows? it's very old! Our farmhouse was built in 1836. So we have lots of old treasures around.

GORGEOUS ANTIQUE FRENCH PETITE CAST IRON SHABBY PAINTED GARDEN URN LATE 1800'S" to start a new paragraph use- Gorgeous antique French petite garden urn. I have to admit to thinking that this was made of stone before I picked it up to take a closer look. It is heavy. Made from cast iron but painted with a chalky grey/white paint- obviously to make them look like stone. A shaped and ribbed top lip with an ornate pedestal. It has evidently been used as the paint is chipped and shabby(perfect in my eyes) and was still filled with remnants of earth when I found it. There is a draining hole to the base for when it is planted up. Personally because of the unusual size I would display this within the home, planted up with spring bulbs for a typical French look on a kitchen window sill, display in a bathroom overflowing with shells perhaps? ... moreThe list is endless. Antique Brass Garden Sprayer Late 1800"s. Plates say" Philadelphia Robt T Deakin& Co. From Robert" the top one and on the second one"Buisi Jr. seed warehouse 922-925 Market St. Philadelphia Pa. Very clean and complete. Aging of brass. And wear. Works! The extra nozzles are screwed into the body at the top. Has three sprayer nozzles. Two are multi-type and a single port type. I tested it and it works! The plunger uses string as a seal and probably needs some added to it to make it a good seal. Please see picture's to gauge condition. Antique Late 1800's Wooden Barrel Butter Churn Beautiful unrestored condition
You are looking a a beautiful Wooden Barrel Butter Churn. This churn was made in the late 1800's. This can be identified by the forged steel and the hot rivets that were used during construction. The butter churn is in unrestored condition, and shows the wooden crank handle, wooden paddles inside the barrel, simple gears and wooden construction of a peg syaten to easily take the stand apart. The butter churn has been a decorative piece for the last 25 years that I have owned it, and I have not tried to use it. This is a beautiful example of our history, and it needs to go to someone who enjoys the simplicity of our past. Please look at the pictures and send along any questions.
