From all appearances to be from the early to late 19th century certainly the romantic style reflects the Romantic/ Neo Gothic periods. The piece is shows over-all oxidation. The base measures 3 1/2" x 6" the top of the black plant stand has what looks like a antique key hole to hang it on the wall. The back says Pat. Sept 25 1800's(I can not make out the last two numbers because the metal end covers it. This is in very good condition for its age. could use a good cleaning.
