One of the tines is visibly bent. But I think that just gives this item unique character from the farm. In which it was used. Honest Americana. Item only includes the cast iron wheel. Not the box it is propped against. This item is cast iron and old and is rusted. Pitting, worn and some bending. Overall this item is in good condition for it's age and use. Peas, Beat Pars Rad Onion Lettuce, Closed, K22. It measures approx 8" across wheel. The hopper is approx 4" x 4" It is missing the handle. The wheel turns freely& the dial turns. Cast Iron Antique Table Base Planter Birdbath Garden Urn Stand Industrial Age
So many options; could be a table base. Birdbath stand, wide garden urn base, Plant stand, or even a base for fountain. An old granite ware wash basin set on top for a garden bird bath and bring it in for the winter as a table or plant stand. Originally it was black but it has worn down over time and there is some rust as you can see in the pictures. It is still sturdy and strong. It stands about 29" tall the ring on the top has a diameter of 18-19" It does not come with the pot or plant. It is very heavy so I will mail it at the best price possible. The"Iron Age" seeder is not your average and still retains it's original forest green paint and advertising painted label on the front. Look at the gold painted seed separator wheel which reads Cel.Tur, On'n, Radish, Spin, Pars, Beet, On the bottom corner of the label you can just read"Patented Dec 9, 1902. It stands 14 5/8" tall and 15" long from the front of the wheel to the back of the body. Most of the body is cast iron including the top flip up fill lid and the seed holder or basin is tin/metal.
