This antique planter does have wear& I'm not sure that the top hanger is original. But it is the same just painted white. The 9 spots that hook to the tower are 3 1/8" wide. The bottom one is 7 1/2" wide. The tower is the cool part. You can put a thick mulch in it& plant in it too, I had to dig the antique mulch out of it. When you water the tower it runs down to the bottom plant. It also all come apart. So if you need to move your plants you can do it in sections. Very Nice. You Will Be PLEASED! Antique Cast Iron Pedestal Flower Pot stand/Candle Holder
We have seen these so many times and have always loved them. Antique table plant pot holder or. As we liked to see them, Candle holder for those big candles. A central upper holder with three that can be swivelled on their hinged mount. From side to side it is about 17 inches and 8 3/8th inch high approximately(though these are approximate measurements to give an idea of size. The three lower holders can be lifted off for storage and this will be shipped to you with these taken off and wrapped to give them protection. We just wished that the people at the estate hadn't gone crazy with black paint. They said that"they had seen on TV that if you paint something old and cruddy with black paint someone would buy it" We had to explain that we would have bought it anyway and it was far nicer with that old and cruddy look to it. Antique CAST IRON PLANT STAND Swivel Arms Mid Century Violet Holder Great Patina
Rare estate find: an antique cast/wrought iron plant stand with swivel arms; counting the top holder this piece will hold 10 plants I believe these were often used to hold African Violet plants and the arms swiveled so you could stagger them and position them as close to a window as needed; this is a Mid Century/Machine Age piece; it stands roughly 54" tall and the base span is 18.5" one of the longer arms extends out about 15" and the rings have an inside diameter of 4" This would also make a neat pumpkin stand for Fall! The black iron base is scrolly and the arms have detailing similar to the shelf/plant hanger brackets of those days; the arms feed onto a center pole. One on top of the other and then the top cup piece, which matches the base in color, screws on; after I put it together for the photos I realized that ... moresome of the arms are shorter than others-you can arrange these pieces however you like-this will come to you disassembled, but it is easy to put back together This awesome garden stand is solid and sturdy; at first I thought the arms were brass as they have verdigris in places. But they are rusty on the insides of pipe parts and a magnet attracts to them, so I think they are iron and were either plated or painted to resemble brass; the center pole is rusted, as is the base, which is dusty also-this age patina is great if you like an antique appearance, but if not, you could paint it to suit your taste; I think this piece was outside a lot which is why it has so much finish wear/patina It is rare to find a plant stand this solid and thick-many are more delicate-this one will not tip over easily and it will hold a lot of plant pots; it may need some work if you don't care for the aged look. Vintage cast iron 9 swing arm plant holder. This plant holder is 41" tall. 9 plant holders, one with 2 holders, Victorian style I believe from the 30's or 40's, very white heavy cast iron. Great condition, some paint chips, a bit of rust on the underside bottom. The arms come off the pole with no problems and makes for a easy shipment.
