VTG UNIQUE VICTORIAN FRENCH SHABBY WROUGHT IRON HANGING PLANT BASKET PLANTER
This beautiful and unique basket stands approx. 12 inches tall with the handle. It could be hung by the handle with a hook and used like a planter or just place on a table top for display. The round bottom of the basket measures aprox. 6x6 inches and the opening round area on top is approx. 8 1/2 x 8 1/8 inches. Measuring approx. 14" across and 6" deep; they have a drop of 14" Both are pretty much identical and they have hanging chains and hooks; they nest within one another for easy storage Nice pieces to add coir grass or burlap to for plants& flowers and they could also be used for silk greenery. As wedding baskets or as hanging towel baskets in the bathroom; because they are metal, they can be used indoors or out I'm not sure how old they are. We are pleased to offer this beautiful pair of vintage(1950s) hanging garden baskets. The pair are HEAVY and are constructed of substantial. Industrial, tubular wrought iron. They retain most of their original white paint but they do have several areas of chipping paint with some rust underneath. This gives the pair a very wonderful, aged character. There is old chain attached as well as a ringed hangers. The baskets are weighty and very sturdy. Could also be used as large candle holders for your porch or patio. The pair are identical.
