Scrapes and surface rust due to age and usage. Hand Fork has bent tines from usage and measures approximately 10 1/2" in length and 2 1/2" wide. A wonderful 3-piece set of vintage garden hand tools in orange metal with wooden handles. These have a nicely aged patina from years of use. The tools are in vintage condition with rust. Scratches and dirt and the claw has encountered some hard Ohio clay shifting the alignment of the one tine. The claw metal is not as tight on the handle yet secure. Great vintage metal hand cultivator claw has green paint and a wood handle. Very sturdy- so useful in the garden or just hang it on your wall for decoration(or both! This one has green metal wrapped around most of the wood handle- the handle has a hole for hanging on the back only. The top metal is stamped Made In U.S.A. with no maker's mark. Measures 10.5"long. With 5 tines spanning 3.25" wood handle is 1.25"in diameter. Really a nice vintage tool both functional and decorative! Please see my pictures. Vintage Primitive HAND GARDEN TOOL ~ Cultivator / CLAW ~ Orange
This will be handy this spring or use it for a primitive decoration! This auction is for a vintage Hand Garden Tool; I call these a cultivator or claw. This is obviously from many years ago but is still a very serviceable tool. I can't find any marking as to the manufacturer but am sure due to the quality it was made in the U.S.A. I have not done any cleaning on this; it is in" as found" condition. Dimensions: About 9" long. Material: All steel Condition: This is in good and very serviceable condition. There is some surface rust here and there as you can see in the picture. I would estimate it still retains 74% of the original orange paint. The center claw has a little bend in it- no big deal! This is for the garden tool you see in the first picture. Quite old. But not sure just how old. I have never seen anything like this one, that's for sure! I don't see words anywhere. VERY UNUSUAL. You see the spring on the handle. No idea what it is there for. I cannot figure out what it does. But it makes this piece look pretty cool, that I can tell you. The spring is 6" long.
