The auction is for a great old water pump. It is made out of all solid iron. I believe the green paint is original if not it has been on there a long time. The markings I could find were McDonald and Debuque. I unsure if it is in working condition. It could be the handle appears to move up and down pretty freely. Vintage Antique Large Green Tole Paint Metal Garden Flower Water Watering Can
This was discovered in a very old Thousand Islands camp estate and I immediately fell in love! This quaint early watering can is a large 16" tall with the hinged top handle in an upward position. It is 9" in diameter at the base and from the outer side handle to the end of the spout spans 16" The tole can is painted in a earthy green and has a portrayal of cat tails on both sides in wonderful detail. Even the shadows cast by the cat tails and leaves is depicted giving the painting a three dimensional look. Both handles and the top and bottom of the main portion of the can are accented with black pin striping. The top handle is hinged on each side to that it can be raised or laid down on the upper rim. The outer handle has a hollow grip and a thumb rest. The spout has a right angled end. This can has seen many. Many years of ... moreuse and all of it added to it's charm. There is dents, dings, pitting and rust. The rust is most notably on the very bottom(see pic) It will NOT hold water as there is a rather large hole in that bottom. The side and spout appear to be fine. Still, this is such an attractive old piece it would make a lovely ornament in a garden. Use it as a flower pot or set other objects in it for display! Original primitive watering cans this pretty are a rare find!

This wonderful Antique hand water well pump is marked F.E. Myers& Bro Ashland O for Ohio. It's is stamped with No. 2446. The main body measures 26” tall and 20” wide with central cylinder 7" diameter. The original handle is 44" long and the parts move. It has been mounted on a wooden plank as shown in photos. I have not tested this with water so sold as seen. I see no chips or cracks to the cast iron and seem to be in good condition. The paint is cracked. Flaking in places and there is a little surface rust. It has been stored in a dry barn for decades hence the unusual good condition of the paint and body. This is a fantastic piece. Up for bids is this Vintage Green Chipping Painted Metal Chicken Feeder. It is so sweet! You can put a dowel through it. Put some wire on it and hang it as a bird feeder. It is pretty big. Measures approximately 12 1/4" wide by 14" deep by 9 1/2" tall. The back of it has a latch to lift the lid up to put feed in it. It has 7 little feeder slots.
