Antique Vintage PRIMITIVE Metal Bucket BLUE Barn Farm Flowers Garden Sap?
Great antique/vintage metal bucket with awesome blue paint. Wonderful patina with rust. Scuffs, marks, etc typical of age and use. Measures 8 7/8" tall x 5 3/4" at bottom and 6 3/4" at top. There are four tiny pinholes are edge of bottom, so this could not hold water. There are two seams on this bucket that run from top to bottom. Top edge is rolled/folded over. There is a round opening on one side near top(about 1/4" around) making me wonder if this was possibly use to hang on a tree and collect sap? They are quite large and measure 35 by 26 inches. Each one weighs about 35 pounds as well. I will ship but would prefer to be picked up. You are bidding on a UNIQUE and BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE/VINTAGE HAY(or FIRE) RAKE I'm not sure of its age. And it has no maker's markings. WOW! This is a very large. Heavy rake suitable for hanging on the barn or cabin wall, especially if you like country/primitive/shabby decor. Or. If you prefer, it has plenty of life still left in it as a hay rake or fire rake! The handle is a standard(heavy duty) rake-type handle. Out of which comes a piece of square iron stock. The rake head is made of some type of very dense, heavy wood. possibly oak or ironwood. The tines are simply huge 8"long iron nails. The head of the rake is firmly attached to this stock with a single bolt and square nut. See final photograph. When I ship this to you. It will be disassembled at the nut/bold. All pieces will be included in the shipment. Size(approximate) ... more66" long 28" wide 8" tines(nails) Condition Details: Incredible character/patina and nice uniform surface rust in keeping with its age. The underside is slightly blackened(but just on the surface) So I suspect this was used at least once as a fire rake. Vintage Pump Jack Water Well Hit Miss Windmill Baker Monitor Farm Barn Tractor
I was going to part this out. But decided to keep it together for a while in case someone wants a complete unit for their pump and hit miss combo. This a Baker Monitor brand pump jack with wooden jack rods and spring loaded quick connect plate with a beautiful"Monitor" script. It is a more modern pump jack with large fluid reservoir. It spins super nice and the gears are in good shape. The axle shafts leak pretty bad though and I didn't pull this apart to see if there are any sort of seals in there that can be replaced. This one is heavy! It's got the flat belt pulley and the brackets for mounting to your pump. Local pickup is preferred, but I will ship, or can deliver free of charge to any of the following areas in Wisconsin as long as you are flexible on dates and times: Green Bay, to Sheboygan, to Madison, to Mashfield, ... moreto Wausau, to Shawano. Vtg Pat'd Hand Well Pump Clevis Hose Adaptor Old Prim Barn Farm Tool Seymour Wis Up for bids is an antique hand well pump hose adaptor. This piece is made of cast iron and brass. And is marked: J. Sigl; Seymour, Wis; Pat'd" around the base. For those interested, the patent number is 1594126 A, from 1926. The clevis is made to be clamped to a well pump faucet, so that a hose can be attached to more easily bring water to the barn, bucket or garden. It measures approx 6" tall, and will fit up to a 2.5" diameter pump faucet. There is a brass thumbscrew at the top that will tighten down to hold it on to the faucet. It also swivels, able to adjust to the angle of any well faucet spout. The brass screw has a steel pin inside where it tightens to the pump. I believe that there may have been a rubber washer or gasket inside, ... morebut there is none. This is a unique piece that has no breaks or repairs, and is ready for use or display.
