Fabulous Vintage Concrete Garden Gnome on Whiskey Barrel Statue Great Aged Paint
DESCRIPTION: FRESH ESTATE FIND. I just unearthed this fabulous vintage concrete garden gnome from the yard of a local estate. The aged paint on this gnome is beyond wonderful. And there is incredible detail in the statue as well. The gnome is sitting on what looks like a whiskey or other type of liquor barrel. It is VERY HEAVY. DIMENSIONS: Measures approximately 17 1/2" tall x 13 1/2" x 8" CONDITION: You are buying this very fun vintage concrete garden gnome on a whiskey barrel statue in"as found" condition. It definitely shows signs of age with some small holes in the gnome's hat and some shallow loss to the concrete. Especially on one of the gnome's arms. I have tried to show all this in several close-up photos. There are no major cracks(just some natural old age separation lines) or significant chips. None ... moreof the results of age detracts in the least and, in my opinion, it just adds to this charming gnome's character. I did not try to clean it in any way. This is a beautiful vintage cherub wall planter that measures 18 1/2 inches top to bottom 11 inches wide and 3 1/2 inches deep. I purchased this wall planter at an estate sale and painted it in white then gave it a distressed look. It has the look of old cement but I believe it is made of some type of plaster.
