Vintage Hand Crank Stewart No.1 Clipper Sheep Shears, Chicago Flexable Shaft Co.
This bid is for a great vintage Stewart No.1 Clipper hand crank sheep shears made by Chicago Flexable Shaft Co. This is in good complete condition. One of the cutter blades is damaged but they are replacable. I took this a part. Everything moves freely. Cranks smoothly. The flex shaft wants to bind up sometimes. when everything is assembled together. There is probably some trick to it that I don't know. The flex shaft is a chain not a cable and I am guessing it has to be tight inside the sleeve for it to work properly. Other than the damaged cutter comb blade there is not any other damage or repairs to this unit. Very restorable. This is Sold AS IS and as found. Winner pays UPS shipping

Vintage/Antique Wood Handle Garden Tool Pruning Shears Hedge Clipper Farm
These are some fairly large pruning shears. And the blade still cuts fairly well considering how old they look. The handle is 10" and the maximum cutting surface of the blade is ~9" They at one point belonged to my grandfather and my dad won't let me scrap them. I find modern cutting methods a bit more precise and powerful. But respect that there's a bit of old time charm to a pair of pruning shears like these, they might make a nice wall mounted piece or something. I'm also selling an old Sickle thing. This is a vintage 1930's or 1940's standing grass shears with long handle. Called"Doo-Klip. The manufacturer's decal is in decent shape for its age, adding to it's collectible value. I am selling this for my 90 year old neighbor. His memory is excellent and he says that this is Pre-WWII. Besides being a collectible, it works quite well and saves the back when doing trimming. It stands approximately 37" high. Although it could probably benefit from the blades being sharpened, it is really not necessary before using. It cuts quite well and the 2 wheels wheel with ease. The wear is age appropriate. The green paint is original although there are multiple areas where the green is missing. Also. There is some oxidation present.
