They are in good condition but do have a few flaws. The mounting brackets that attach to wall are missing for both of the holders. You can use your own brackets if want. At least 100 years, probably closer to 150. I don't see any like this on ebay now or in recent past. This one is different than the norm. Amazing Estate Find! Condition is very good with normal paint chips. Very little rust on this one. No Cracks or Breaks. Marked 13 on the back. Measures 30 x 19 inches and stands 10 inches from the wall. The cast iron piece measures about 7.5 inches in height and it's about 4 5/8 inches across at the widest part of the shield. The thick forest green glass vase sits into the holder and has a plastic end with drainage hole so it can be used for fresh flowers. The mount also has a drainage hole so if you use it with water. It will need to be outside or on a porch as the water will drip through to the floor. Artificial or silk flowers would be your best bet for indoor use. Old swing arm cast iron flower pot holder screws to wall & 2 holders go in slots
Cast iron flower pot holder- the two arms slip into the holder that would be screwed to a wall/post they swivel 90 degrees- sorry- I didn't clean it up so does need it 1 arm is 8 1/2 inch long- the cast holder is 2 1/2 x 5 inches tall I don't see any maker mark on it Do note the two missing pieces of decoration on one arm& it also has a bit of extra cast on one tooth It would hold a pot up to 3 11/16" inch across Please look at the pictures as they are part of my description and email with any questions. This auction is for an antique cast iron and porcelain garden wall decorative planter with lion head at top. There is no plumbing in the head. But it could probably be fitted with it to make the piece a fountain. It measures about 30 inches tall and about 20 inches wide.
