Il. 60045) They claim to have converted it into this bell post in 1965. I can't verify any of the information as I am unable to look under post for any markings. This is an old cast iron oil lamp or flower pot holder. The back is 13" tall x 9" across at the widest and the ring is 5" across. It is in excellent vintage condition no cracks or missing parts. Vintage 1930's Architectural Salvage Cast Iron Lamp Street Light with Steel Attaching Pole Arm Beautiful acorn shaped design and updated inter lighting mechanism within the last 10 ten years. Both work and look amazing. Picture one or my offered pair flanking your home. Business or driveway, what a statement. This street light measures 88" inches from the pole attaching bracket to the center of the acorn shaped globe. 36" inches from the top point to the bottom of the globe. Globe measures 14" in length and width. I believe these were made by the Union Metals Company in the early to late 1930's.
