I have Bird Bath Fountain created in XIX century. Made of brass and marble, h-34” w-23" probably came from Italy or South France(indicated by the type of marble) It is depicting three cupids in pastoral scenery. Object needs some conservation; some parts are disconnected. Discolored marble needs to be unified, general cleaning and polishing is necessary. Since it is an old object, museum quality, proved by time to be elegant and aesthetically pleasing, it should look very good in every outdoor space.

The most wear is in the bowl from the water. Paint is peeling. The rest has just normal wear from being outside and tiny paint splatters. They will come off. I tried a small spot. Underneath the base is quite a bit of dirt. It is not rust. I should have taken a broom to it. Sorry about that. Will sweep it before mailing it out. The bowl and bird are aluminum is my guess. Magnet does not stick. The rest should be cast iron. Magnet does stick. Similar looking bath are made of resin. Because this is made of metal it is way heavier. Overall this is still quite nice. VINTAGE DECORATIVE TERRACOTTA GARDEN PEDESTAL BIRDBATH BIRD BATH
Please scroll down under this description for additional views. Vintage 1950's-1960's two part pedestal birdbath. Total height 23" Base measures 21" tall. 10 1/2" diameter base, 4" diameter top. Hollow cast with embossed pattern on the neck and base with green paint accenting the design. The basin measures 18 1/2" diameter with an embossed floral pattern around the outside. It too is accented inside and out with green paint. I feel quite certain that the green accents are original. No maker's mark impressed anywhere. The pedestal has a chip area on the top edge of the base and there are some tiny flakes on the outside of the basin.
