With their little wings rotating with the breeze or wind. Spinners, or windmills) Handpainted details, although they have a rustic, primitive look. No maker marks, I can;t find any others to locate info on them. BLUE JAY: has a chip on the tuft of feathers that sticks out on the back of his head(see photo) and another.Significant, chip on his left back tail feathers. see photos) One propeller wing spinner looks like it was reattached(successfully) at some point with glue where it;s inserted in the side. Wing spins freely as it should. Size is approx. 4.5" long x 1.5" wide x 2" deep. Piece of top layer of paint and material is cracked near the opening for the stake on the underside. Looks like a crack in the photos, but is actually only the top layer. Missing the plastic plug that the stake is inserted into, you would need a stake that fit snugly in the opening. HUMMINGBIRD: His long black plastic beak keeps falling out. Has a plug on the end that could be covered with glue and re-inserted to prevent it from coming out permanently. The underside DOES have the plastic plug that a skinny metal stake will fit into. He has wear and scuffing, but no actual chips or flea bites. Will be realistic looking when his little wings are spinning fast. Hard to find- I couldn;t find any others. Beautiful Antique Architectural Salvage Red Garden Wheel Barrow
This rusty red wheel barrow is amazing! If you love red. Rust and patina, this is the one for you! It is functional for the garden as well as decorative, use your imagination! I believe it is from the 40's or 50's. Made of metal with rust breaking through the paint and paint chipping off. It is not rusted through, still solid! The wheels are in great shape and work great. The red metal bucket is 30 1/2" x 18" and 11" deep at the deepest part. It stands 14 1/2" tall from the ground to the top of the bucket. The single handle extends out 20" and is 24" tall at the end. Antique wheel barrow, Very Rare 1 of a kind & never seen on a ebay auction B 4
This Wheel Barrow is a one of a kind and is from the family's home in the Mountains Of San Bernardino. It has been at the family cabin for over 56 years that I know of. It could have been used in the local Mining district in the day. It is at my best guess at least 100 years old. And confirmed by my father recollection, who in in his late 80's. The surface is steel and has a light coat of surface rust over the entire wheel Barrow. The bottom of the tub has two small holes in it. So it will not hold water. This is a prefact item for display in a local hardware store, a Nursury to display seasonal item, as a movie prop or a focal point in a front yard of one home. Note the square nuts in its construction. This item is located in Redondo Beach. California.
