Antique Hand Held Scythe. We found it hanging on the wall as a decor item in an enclosed. Garden porch at an estate sale. It's not marked for maker or age, my best guess is that it dates to around 1930. Wooden handle. The blade is held to the metal curved part by 2 rivets. The blade is about 12" long, it weighs 1 pound. Condition: A lot of wear on the wood handle; splits. Scrapes a few little paint spots. All metal parts are covered in rust. No dings on the blade, all the parts are tight. All questions are welcomed. What a statement piece for your garden! So this thing I call"The Seeder" Although it's an old farming tool. It's made of metal, iron I'm pretty sure because it's all rusty, and is pretty heavy. From my research, this was used to drop seeds into the ground. It has a wheel in the front and a container on the top(actually on the bottom in the photos) to fill with seeds. They fall through the bottom as you push it along. I'm sure it had a wooden handle at one point, but it's long gone. Very cool rusty vintage piece. There are a couple of holes in it that would make it very easy to attach to a piece of wood for a unique, primitive piece of wall art. Measures approximately 24" long by 15" tall by 6" deep. Rustic and raw. With an outstanding green PATINA, this hand-forged water pitcher was probably made for and used well-side, long, long ago. It is full of wonderful imperfections and uneven measurements, making it one of a kind! Obviously crafted by a blacksmith. This lovely piece has a nice rusty iron bail, with the remainder being copper. I filled it full of water and it does not leak. It weighs just under 3 lbs.
