This is a lot of 43 antique casters. I have separated into a wood lot(27 units) on the left and metal lot(16 units) on the right. The condition of wheels vary. But all turn freely. Antique Metal Furniture Casters With Black Bakelite Plastic Wheels
This auction is for a set of 4 metal furniture casters with black plastic wheels. Possibly bakelite with ball bearings. They all seem to be in good condition with no damage other than scuffing on the wheels from use. There is a diamond mark with a D in the center on one side and the patent no. 9142 on the other side of the casters. Antique Pair of Baby Buggy or Cart Wheels -Wood Metal & Rubber-14 inch Diameter
Here you have a pair of antique/vintage buggy wheels that are 14 inches in diameter and about 3/4 of an inch wide not including the metal hub. The spokes are wooden and the tires are rubber with the rubber being in good condition. The hubs are metal and hold the spokes nice and tight. The one wheel is in good condition while the other wheel has a broken spoke and a few cracked spokes(see pictures) The wood spokes look like they have had a couple of coats of paint of orange and maroon that give these wheels a nice vintage/rustic look. Antique Industrial Metal Wheel Casters! HUGE 8" wheels! 4 Set Table Legs
Up for sale are these 4 incredible antique casters. There are 2 pairs- one pair has asolid wheel. The other has 4 spokes. The 2 with the solid wheel measure approximately 8 1/4" in diameter and stands 14 1/4" tall, while the wheels with spokes measure approximately 8" and stand 13 3/4" tall. There are factory made holes in the bars which extend from the wheel to connect to the table/cart/etc so mounting should not be difficult. These are in beautiful industrial condition with a solid patina. Since they're so old the locking mechanisms would need some work to release the break/tighten the breaks. One is missing the upper arm to set the break(see photo) and one of the solid wheels has a yellow rust on one side. One of them has a spot that does not have rust/patina and still looks like a grey metal. These are very aged ... moreand would look incredible as legs for a table. Three have metal wheels(brass) and they turn freely. The other smaller caster has a rubber type wheel. Looks like a replacement. They measure over 1 1/2 inches high(total) and the wheels diameter is about 3/4 of an inch. They need cleaning. The 2 porcelain wheeled casters measure about 2 1/4 inches high(total) The wheels measure about 1 inch in diameter. Included with these are the furniture metal inserts. These were used on bar tops and pushed down the bar for customers to pour shots. Wheels will need oiling for easy movement. There's a drawer used for money. This has the original shot glasses and liquor bottles. The liquor bottles have Bourbon. Scotch and Rye the lettering is in gold. Rye must have been the most popular because the lettering on that one is worn but easily readable as you can see by the photos. The bottles are 2 1/2 square by inches by 9 inches tall.
