Hi.I have for sale a good antique copper weathervane top that is made in to the shape of an Eagle.This Weathervane top dates to around the 1930's and may possibly be American.This is all well made out of beaten copper and is all soldered together.The eagle is outstreched and sits on a copper ball.The measurments are 24 inches wide x 14 inches long x 16 inches high to the base of the ball not including the insert rod.The copper ball measures approx 3 1/2 inches in diameter,the insert rod measures 2 1/2 inches long x 1/2 inch diameter.The eagle does show its age and it has been repaired along the bottom of the legs,there is the odd small dent here and there but nothing really serious.This will go a lovely green colour over time when placed on the roof etc.The postage will be £10 to send to England,Wales and some parts of Scotland.This ... morewill cost more for Northern Ireland,outer UK Islands and Highlands.When paid for,this will be ordered for collection on the next day.Sometimes the courier may take up to two days to collect.I can send overseas but please ask for a price first.Many thanks for looking(o)

The Peoria IL company introduced a solid brass version of this sprinkler in 1929. I imagine the copper& brass version was made sometime later. The company is still in business& has a good website. I partially polished the outside of piece. The inside still has the original patina. It's kind of a nice combination. I have included pictures of the sprinkler working. I did find that my current hose is slightly smaller than the input hole. They must have been bigger back in the day. A little plumbers tape would do the job. Lovely old watering can with elegant swooping shape. Beautifully executed and balanced. Long slim nozzle allows you to precisely place the water exactly where you want it and control water flow, perfect for African Violets and other plants that require precise watering. The overall shape is swooping and organic. Pointing towards Art Nouveau. The unique and unusual bullseye decoration is more transitional towards Art Deco. Either way, it is lovely and enjoyable to use. It is unmarked. Pointing towards and artisan made piece. As for the metal…without ruining the great patina. I believe the bottom is brass, as is the nozzle and handle, but the body of the can seems to be copper. It would be stunning polished with the bi colored metal, but is also lovely as is. The watering can measures 9" tall and 15" wide and 3-1/2" deep.

Old Antique Victorian 19th Century Copper Hand Held Watering Can for indoor Plants. C1880. It is made of Copper with a Horizontal Rib Design. Being made of copper there is no rust but I have left some of the original patina to show it's age. It can be further polished to a shine if you wanted. It is in good condition, has some dents and bends in handle from use over many years but does not leak. The dimensions of the can part are 5 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter. The overall dimensions including handles and spout are 10 inches tall, 12 inches wide(handle to spout) and 5 1/2 inches side to side.

Antique Copper& Brass Plate Pump Mister Sprayer Wood Handle w Coarse/Fine Adjuster This is a charming. Fairly large antique hand pumping water mister or sprayer. The container is solid copper with a brass bottom that is approximately 5” tall by 5” in diameter at the bottom. Made in U.S.A. is embossed on the bottom. The container has a bumpy dent on the front(see photos) and numerous very fine, light scritches. It appears that the screw top is also brass, or brass plate over copper(on one side, you can see wear to the gold-colored plate that fades into the deep umber color of copper, and there is the green oxidation that copper shows; see photo) It has a dome on the top with a groove in it; the brass tube of the pump is soldered into the groove. The pump tube is 14” long. At the top in is a is a small nozzle with a hole at the tip; this ... morefits onto a brass screw and you can adjust the mist from fine to“coarse” by turning this fitting. This info is made clear by directions embossed on the tube: Adjust Nozzle” with“Fine” and an arrow pointing right below that; and“Coarse” with an arrow pointing left below that. The nozzle unscrews easily. Two little screws(not philips) at the bottom end of the tube allow you to remove the end to clean it out. The end plate is a hard, old rubber still in good condition. The rod of the pump appears to be iron(there is some rust near the handle) and the handle is wood. The tube has a couple of small dings, a tiny dent on the lower side, and a ½” long shallow dent on the upper side(photo 8) there are also two areas with beige paint spots. One of these is a 1.25” long drip(photo 7) the other was a.25 X.5” splotch. I figured these spots could be removed with my fingernail, and sure enough, they can. What I found when I removed the small spot is that the tube is also really copper with brass plate, as the plating came off with the paint(photo 4) I decided to leave the drip to the buyer’s discretion to remove or not. The main body is wrought iron and decorated with copper floral motifs. The two shelves are remover able trays and are porcelain and decorated with white Edelweiss flowers. Blue Gentian flowers, and pinkish red alpine roses. The tray is set in a copper rim with copper handles.This floral motif is a typical motif that is repetitively found in alpine decor. The porcelain part of this table has the hallmark of a famous German porcelain company, namely"Waechtersbach" which is comparable to the American Roseville. The wrought iron tray has three copper ... morebun feet(one is missing but could be replaced) The porcelain of the tray is in good used condition with only some slight staining. The second tray is also removable and has the same floral decor. It can be used by itself and it has four little copper bun feet. There is also a floral circular decor on the back of this table that holds a candle or something else. This table could be used for a myriad of purposes- like a plant strand. Side table for knick nacks, and in lieu of a tea cart, etc. The wrought iron is in good used condition with some of the blackish paint worn off in spots but this is not very obvious. This beautiful planter has a rectangular copper body with soft curved corners. And is accentuated with four brass claw feet and two lion head handles. It measures approx. 29.5cm in length, approx. 12cm in width and approx. 11cm in height. This copper and brass planter remains in good condition. There are signs of use and wear. The copper body has some small light dents and some scuffing. The planter has been cleaned and polished but would benefit from a gentle detailed clean at the edges and feet ect.
