Here is a pair of SHABBY antique wooden wheels! These are from the late 1800's to early 1900's. 16 3/4" diameter, and made of wood with rubber outsides. Please look at all of my pics carefully as these are antique& USED with wear! These are salvaged! One has a'through' hairline crack. The outer rubber is very hard, the paint is CHIPPY& PRIMITIVE, there are lots of dings& scuff marks& dust, there is an 1/8" gap in the rubber(on each wheel) where the ends meet, they are a bit wobbly, they have lots of wear, use, chippy paint, etc. These actually still have their metal axel that they attach to. The inner hole for an axel measures approx. 1/2" diameter. I am continually amazed and then frightened by the amount of clothing that I brought home. Ripped the tags off saying MINE and then slid it into the closet waiting til I could fit into it.
