Pair Antique Wrought iron Large Stands 55.5" tall Distressed Paint Nouveau
Up for consideration is a fine pair of antique wrought iron stands in good distressed paint. The stands measure about 56 inches tall by 15 inches in width. They have a 2 or 3 layers of paint that has worn away exposing the original polychromatic color scheme underneath. The stand have a tripodal base with several floral rosettes and a large complicated iron flower in the center complete with anatomical flower with all it's parts. At the top is a large floral scalloped edged with more of the same wonderful robin eggs blue layered paint. One can easily see the how the paper currency shows clearly the scale of the piece. No signs of repairs. All of the original rosettes are present. Looks like there may be some pitting under the paint on the top of the stands. These pieces are exceptional in real life.
