It is an incomplete vintage Metlox ... morePoppytrail Old Mill with a water wheel. About 12 inches long and 6 1/4 inches high, and 8 1/2 inches wide at the widest. It has a basin to hold water that, when filled, flows over a water wheel that turns. Missing is the large ceramic dish that fits under the entire piece and holds water for the pump. Water is pumped from under the unit by a pump inside the log cabin that fills the basin; while I have not used water, when I plug the unit in, it looks like it works fine. Still has two original Metlox Poppytrail labels on the roof of the cabin and one on the side of the basin, and a pump label on the cabin front. Excellent condition; the only damage I can see are two very tiny chips on the bottom edge of the cabin front that aren't visible when the cabin is put on its base. Unusual and awesome. Here is a cast iron wagon/farm implement wheel. Great and popular for use as vintage yard and garden outdoor decorations. I have two of these available. You are buying one, put"2" in the quanity box if you want both of them. It is about 22 1/2 inch diameter. A big one. It has 11 spokes. 3" wide ground contact of rim. Cast iron. Heavy and sturdy made. Weighs about 31 pounds. Nice solid ornate decorative hub. Cast iron hub is bored for a 1 3/8" inch axle. Nice aged appearance. Has rust overall. Vintage PLANET JR. 2 (double) Wheel Cultivator w/6 Plow Teeth FARM GARDEN
I am selling some of my husband's Planet Jr. pieces that he has been collecting for a few years. I will have several auction listings this week. This listing is a 2 wheel(or double wheel) cultivator with six plow teeth. The teeth are marked: 4183" The frame is marked on the bowed part on the top: PLANET JR. Other markings are: D 26" and"D 27" I consider the cultivator to be in very good used shape. Especially considering the purpose of their use. It has a rustic patina. I have estimated the shipping weight at 30 pounds. If the cost ends up being considerably less. then I will refund partial shipping cost back through your paypal account. Vintage Antique Heavy Cast Iron Spiked Rotary Cultivator Wheel 15 1/2" Rustic
For bid is a cast iron cultivator or rotary hoe wheel from an old farm implement. This heavy duty wheel weighs 14 lbs. 10 ozs. and measures 15 1/2" across. It is 3 1/4" in depth and is molded in one piece. The iron is marked with a"B" and a maker's mark. But I am unable to read the name. It retains some of the original red-orange paint. The unusual design of this wheel would make it a great outdoor decorating item or repurpose it for interior use.
