It is an incomplete vintage Metlox ... morePoppytrail Old Mill with a water wheel. About 12 inches long and 6 1/4 inches high, and 8 1/2 inches wide at the widest. It has a basin to hold water that, when filled, flows over a water wheel that turns. Missing is the large ceramic dish that fits under the entire piece and holds water for the pump. Water is pumped from under the unit by a pump inside the log cabin that fills the basin; while I have not used water, when I plug the unit in, it looks like it works fine. Still has two original Metlox Poppytrail labels on the roof of the cabin and one on the side of the basin, and a pump label on the cabin front. Excellent condition; the only damage I can see are two very tiny chips on the bottom edge of the cabin front that aren't visible when the cabin is put on its base. Unusual and awesome. Purchased at an estate sale and was told they date back to the 1930s and were brought over from Germany. I thought they were very cool! My husband thinks they are creepy so off they must go. Each gnome is 12" from the base of the statue to the top/tip of the that Each appears to be cement with the possibility of metal inside. A metal clings faintly to different parts of each body. Gnome in blue pants/hat is in exceptional condition. One small paint chip Gnome in red pants/hat is also in exceptional condition. Whatever he was carrying in his hand is now gone. one small paint chip(shown) one casting bauble- see photo#8. It does not appear to be loose or to be in danger of coming off. A wonderful pair of plant holders They are large measuring approx 24" long by 11.5" wide by 8" deep. Good used condition showing age wear. The grape leaves are metal but the grapes appear to be a clear glass on wire with some of the grapes missing. The rest of the grapes could be removed. The holders appear to have been repainted awhile ago and you can see some rust. They are heavy weighing over 2 pounds each. Please check out my other auctions for combined shipping. These are both in good USED condition. I have shown in the last pictures what I have done with 3 of them in my kitchen with. These measures approx. 14" long X 8-912" tall and each have 14 tines. I consider my photos to be part of the description and recommend using the zoom feature or double clicking on photos to enlarge them for optimal viewing. I have not cleaned these.
